How would you like to win a shiny new Toyota pickup truck?

p.s. LET THE JOURNEY’S CONTINUE…
I gave my Tacoma to my daughter and now have no transportation of my own. I rely on my boyfriend’s vehicles . A new truck would be most welcomed. I am a Navy Vietnam Era and Cold War veteran.
LOOKS LIKE A GREAT TRUCK . I HAVE BEEN DRIVING THE SAMES TRUCK FOR 23 YEARS AND NOW HAS SEEN BETTER DAYS.
I would LOVE to be in that new truck styling and profiling.
I am a Vietnam vet navy I serve my country I am proud to spend time over seas and abroad I also retired from the VAHospital in aspinwall PA as a housekeeping aid I had 12 awards I would love to win a truck for my family and helping the vets God is good all the time
It wopuld help – out of work and my sole source of transportation got hit by a semi last week.
My son would love to have a truck. His car he has been driving since a teenager, it is a 2010 & begining to nickle & dime him. When asked why he doesn’t get a new vehicle he says why, it’s paid for & still gets me where I need to go.
This would be a wonderful gift. Our one car is not reliable. I am former Air Force and my husband is a former Marine. He is disabled. This would make our life a bit easier. Thank you for doing this for us and my serving brothers and sisters
My husband is a Viet Nam veteran and we would feel honored and humbled to have a new truck. He has a 1995 Ford diesel F250 that needs a lot of work. A new truck would truly be a blessing as he is disabled and not mobile enough now to make the repairs that his truck needs.
Disabled Veteran because of Open Burn
I simply want to say thank you. I am ashamed of many of our country’s large corporations as well as individual citizens who could care less about the people who put their lives on the line as soon as they sign the papers when joining. There’s no way to predict what the future holds, but veterans are more apt to suffer long term to life altering issues than the vast majority of other people.
I “LOVE” the fact that our congressional reps/senators all receive a “golden parachute” retirement, pension etc yet the vast majority of them have never served and there’s still quite a few who “bought” their way out of being drafted while the draft was in effect. Compare what they receive to what Disabled or retired veterans receive!! Anyone else see something radically wrong with this picture??
I’d very much like to win this truck, or any as a disabled veteran there’s simply no way I could ever afford to buy a new one. I’ve been staying on top of my ’98 Chevy pick-up because I HAVE TO. Sure would be nice to win a new one!
I STRONGLY feel that if you are NOT willing to put your life on the line in order to protect your family, friends, your way of life, your freedom etc then you don’t deserve ANY of the protections you receive from men & women who ARE willing to possibly put themselves in the “line of fire”. They ought to be taxed at a higher rate to better fund veteran healthcare AFTER they’re out of the military. I also believe that UNLESS you had a LEGITIMATE medical issue that would prevent you from joining any branch of the service then you shouldn’t be allowed to hold ANY US political position, only State level.
PS Thank you so very much for the giveaway contest.
After 27 years in the Army, would love to win and haul wood for our fireplace and help others in need.
I am a proud Marine and was my honor and privilege to serve. I would be grateful to win a new truck.

Hello, I can’t afford a new truck. My current truck 2000, Dodge is showing it’s age. I was force to retire due to a stroke working for VBA. I would love to win a new Toyota truck for better transportation.
Being a 100% disabled, I always enjoyed working with and for veterans. Depression sucks! But, it’s good to be able to share with and in a group of veterans with similar situations suchlike Project Healing Waters Fly Fishing (PHWFF).
I would love to win a new truck that would be sooooooooo awesome!!!!!
My husband and I are both veterans. He retired. Still works, always will, I’m sure, drives a rusted out 21 year old Ford Ranger that our youngest son keeps running for his dad. It’s coming up on our 40th anniversary and it would be great if he could be the winner. He’s always been a great man in every way. Great husband, dad, sailor and co-worker.

Thank you for this opportunity. I’m currently Serving in the Alabama National Guard. After my last deployment my wife found me a pre-owned 2011 Tundra that I was fortunate enough to ;urchase because it was the make and model vehicle that I always wanted. Since then its has definitly pulled more than its weight for my family (still love my truck). Its currently more than tight with finances in my family and it would be a true blessing to win this truck.
Also it would be cool to be able to trade the keys of my current Tundra for a new one. Again, thanks for all that ya’ll are doing and God Bless!
I am truly disheartened that this sweepstakes is not eligible to Puerto Rican residents: so many have sacrificed so much for our country.
If it is about the import taxes/costs I would believe that there are ways to apply for a waiver…
Me apena. Me duele el corazon.
Served in Viet Nam and Cambodia 1969-1970. Was wounded in action Aug. 12, 1969. 11th Armored Cavalry Regiment, H Co. Second Squadron. Went on to serve as a civilian working at the Fayetteville VA and Womack Army Medical Center as an RN/Paramedic. My heroes were our WWII Vets. I knew that if I could make it through one year in Viet Nam, I would be home free unlike our WWII Vets who were in it for the long haul. True heroes. I was also fortunate enough to take care of a Korean war Congressional Medal of Honor recipient. That was a true honor! I, like many of my other brothers and sisters in war, carry the unseen scars that run deep and will forever be there. God bless each and every one who have served and are serving.
I’m a USAF vet serving during the Vietnam war, 1969 to 1975. I struggled after my enlistment ended. Very interesting and I see it helping Native American vets too.
It’s terrible that you exclude Alaska and a Hawaii Vets! Damn your organization and your boasting about caring for Veterans!
Vietnam era veteran ‘66-‘70– served in Washington DC— got married while serving, we had 2 children while serving—-just recently sold my F150 to be able to live in our home for another year—God has blessed me even after I recently lost my wife—- children have stepped up to help—- God Bless our soldiers and God Bless the USA !!
Very noble undertaking
I’m still paying for my truck that I bought for 10,000 plus tax. I spent over half of that just to keep it running so I can get to work and other important places. It should be paid off by now, but the money I spend on keeping it up has prevented me from doing it. I recently lost my wife on my son graduation day. It’s just him and I in the home. I would like to travel to see relatives but can’t afford to fly and can’t drive because I don’t trust my truck. My son needs to see his grandmother and cousin’s, and and grandmother. We can really use a new vehicle. If I don’t win, it would be nice if you could suggest a place where I can get a a vehicle with a not so good credit score. I could say more, but I feel that I have taken to much time already. Thanks for your time. Best of luck to whomever is in the running.
Prior Army myself and spouse of an Active-Duty Army wife. Our truck has been broken down on my father’s farm for a couple of years and can’t afford to get it running again. Sure, could use a new truck.
Husband was a 22 1/2 year Air Force member. He passed away leaving me with a high payment on our vehicle. This truck would really help me.
suv on the down and out would like the truck to keep us going

I am a U.S. Army Veteran and a CNA. I have been working as a home health aide assisting other veterans that are home bound or that require help at home in order to not be in placement or assisted living due to health issues. My family and I could really use a safe and reliable vehicle as my husband and I share a vehicle currently. We reside in Iowa in a rural area and without transportation is near impossible to work. Thank you the opportunity to win… this is much needed for many families!
I need a truck.
Thanks for the opportunity to win a much needed truck! Both of our vehicles are on their last leg. One was a lemon from the beginning. Can’t afford to keep on repairing them. US Navy Veteran

Thank you for giving me this opportunity to enter this sweepstake. I really appreciate this opportunity
Would love to win a new truck. Miss my old 1996 Toyota.

US Army/Viet Nam Veteran 1966-67. My 2005 Ford F150 has over 330,000+ miles, still running but sure could use a new 2023 Toyota truck.

I served in the Navy for 4 yrs. As a Hospital Corpsman/lab tech assistant at Pensacola Hospital. Terminated my shore duty and attended Field Med school and was attached to the 3rd Marine in Okinawa. We went on a floatilla to Jungle training school , landing practice and then the coast ofVietnam. Ended my tour at Camp Pendelton Dispensary as lab tech. and ambulance attendant for dependents. Served 25 years on Rhinelander Police Department as Community officer and Officer friendly. The department awarded me with two commendations.
Looks like I not eligible, since I don’t have a DL, just a state ID. My ex drives me everywhere. I’m on oxygen.
I would enter except for 2 things: 1) The license cost in would break me, 2) the gift taxes would do the same thing.
Hello, I am a USAF Veteran. Fortunate to have served during the Cold War. Much respect to all whom have served in the line of fire. Loved my AFSC as a C141B Crewchief. I was one of very few females on the flightline at that time. I was fortunate enough to have been extremely mechanically inclined making my transition into a male oriented job classification that much easier. Had my wonderful and not so wonderful moments as life does, but over all my military experience was a positive one.
I Wish all efforts for existing Soldiers and Veterans were put into saving suicidal veterans found and discovered before it happens. If we can step on the moon in 1969 then why cant suicides be detected after all of them that have happened. The research that must be available from all the friends and relatives should be able to be used to profile possible suicides. It just breaks my heart. My uncle drank himself to death after Pearl Harbor, My friend Wesley Nance Drank himself to death after killing the enemy in Nam. It is in the news all the time today. If I win the truck please give it to a Soldier who fought in a war zone for their Country and may be fighting Depression and Anxiety. Thank you. EX Sgt Military Policeman U.S. Army
Served in Vietnam on Hill 55, Charlie Battery (105 Howitzers) 1st Battalion 11th Marines 1969.

I am a proud female USA Army veteran that served from October 1975 to October 1978. I met my wonderful husband while we were both stationed at Ft. Riley, Kansas. We’ve been married for 45 years this November. I am proud to say I’m a veteran and would serve again if called upon. We both now are private investigators serving Oregon.
I am a United States Marine. I fought in OIF2006. Thank you for showing kindness to people who really deserve it and that’s hard to find these days.
I am a retired Air Force Sgt, and my wife was also in the Air Force! We love the country and our flag and served to show that it was important to serve and give our best during and now after our service! My wife is Vietnam era and I am a Vietnam vet that was there on the ground! We both wear hat to show we still are proud of our service time and we both belong to service clubs that can and do the help to all those that served!

I have nothing witty or fancy to state. I served my country faithfully in the Armed Forces for 20 years. I am proud to be an American. I salute our Flag with pride when the opportunity arises. Thank you Founders for your sacrifices and your foresight in allowing us to live free in the greatest country in the world.
Unfortunately, being 72 yrs. old and disabled I am not looking for a job but a new truck without a massive loan payment would be great! I can put my wheelchair lift right on the back of a truck! I would love the chance to become the winner! Thank you, Toyota, for allowing us the chance to do this for us Veterans.
I am an Air Force veteran and served for 4 years during the Vietnam era from 1964 to 1968. To win the truck would be a blessing. Best of luck to all who enter the contest and thank you for your service to this great Nation. May God bless us all.
Served 14 months in Vietnam , Army ADA , never owned a pickup truck yet .
Served as a Viet Nam Era veteran 65-69 with two years reserve. Air Force turned my life around, helped me get my first home, gave me a trade and helped pay my college through the Masters level. It also gave me an advantage when being evaluated for hiring levels. I was proud to serve my country and support military support programs
I served on two tours in Vietnam in the US Navy as a Hospital Corpsman operating room technician. The overall quality and dedication of both men and women in all branches of the US military is fantastic. Thanks goes out from me to Toyota and the participating dealers who graciously participate in this America’s Heroes Sweepstakes.
What about those of us in AK, HI, PR, GU?
Seriously could use this right now, proud USAF veteran.
I am a retired army veteran and for the past 16 years I have had to rent a room in a friend’s house, and still am. I have been trying for the past 6 years to get a place to live in North Carolina, east of Raleigh. I am still staying in a room in a friend’s house. It causes lots of stress and issues. I have no vehicle. I have to rely on using one of my friend’s vehicles to get back and forth to a work at a job I recently started at Amazon. I retired in 1995 and have yet to be able to own my own house and not rent someone elses. It causes me a lot of stress and anxiety.
US Air Force 1966-1970, crash rescue firefighter.
At first thought we had to comment and tell everyone what branch served in, how long and where we were sent. But then I realized the comments are just a bunch of people wanting attention and there was no requirement to give away that kind of info

I am A PROUD U S AIR FORCE VETERAN. (4 YEARS ACTIVE & 2 YEARS RESERVE). I still reminisce about my tour in South Dakota, EAFB.
I will never forget the moment I got my orders and began jumping for joy thinking that I was on my way to San Diego, CA. A friend told me to take a closer look. It was not what I wanted.
Nevertheless, I went to EAFB, served my whole 4-year tour, and met some of the GREATEST PEOPLE IN THE WORLD!
It has been over 45 years but I still look at the weather (so cold) for EAFB during the WINTER!!
Great to have new truck

My current truck is over 21 years old and has 300,000+ miles on it. Our Virginia Farm is in desperate need of a new one for daily chores. But, the expense today is currently out of my reach. I know it’s random and whoever wins will be a most deserving veteran.
I’m currently using my sister’s 2011 HHR which is on its last leg. I’m deep in the country and could really use a reliable truck.
I sure could use a new truck. Right now, at such a low point in my life, despite the odds, I’m still thankful for the small things. I want to help others like me, in a low point in their life, find the courage and strength to power forward. I know first hand what it feels like, being a down-on-his-luck disabled Veteran. I would use this truck to rise to the occasion, and on my down time, journal my experiences in the truck with a v-blog, by helping disabled Veterans, by transporting items and/or meals to the homeless, by connecting within my organization for outreach activities, such as PTSD and domestic violence survivors. I am one. Thank you for considering my request.
USAF veteran from the 80’s. Just went through hurricane IAN here in Orlando. My Hyundai is 14 years old and a new truck would be an awesome blessing!
I hope I win, if not I am sure a deserving veteran will.
The va saved my life I had stage four lung cancer that was 5 1/2 years ago
As a 100% disabled veteran, I am always in need of a quality vehicle. IU also am a big fan of Toyota due to there reliability. Thank you for the opportunity!
It would be nice! Thank you for all you are doing for the vets today and in the past !!
I would love to have a truck can not afford one Marine Corps Vet.
Employee/US Army Desert Storm Vet!
I served in the Marine Corps. from 1963 to 1968. I have a 2004 F150 which has served me well, my youngest son has a 2013 Tundra, great truck, would dearly love to have one.
My husband is a veteran and on SS. We recently had a bad experience with buying a vehicle after our new vehicle was hit by a deer and totaled out. I work at the VA and have no way to go. I came and stayed with a friend just to get to work. We are from Collins, Ga and I drive to Dublin everyday to the VA. It has been a nightmare with us, because the vehicle that we just got, the motor went out and the shop found some other issues with the vehicle. Haven’t had the vehicle a week. It’s been aweful. The warranty still hasn’t approved the fixing on the vehicle because of the underlying issues. This would be great if possible. We still would be happy for the person who would win if we do not.
I’ve never owned a new vehicle
So this doesn’t apply to veterans or active duty personnel in hawaii?
I am also a disabled veteran.
My current car is 24 years old and I would sure like to have more reliable transportation-especially a new truck (which I’ve always wanted).
I spent 10 years in 2 branches. 2 combat stripes.I’ve never owned a new vehicle and I’m going on 60. I’ve tried but life’s been to hard on me. Always getting crapped on no matter how hard I try to make things better. I’m only human, maybe just a piece of trash on this earth(so it seems) meant to live in misery (at least I’ve succeeded at that, right?).
Yeah, it would be sweet to win this. It’ll be the first time I’ve ever owned something brand new….
I’ve been electrocuted, suffocated in the military, and now I’m dealing with PTSD, arthritis, PVC’s, PVE’s….I should thank my lucky stars, right? The VBA keeps denying me my rightfully earned benefits (they even admit that I have PTSD from the stated injuries) for some reason..
I need this vehicle, my only other used vehicle is 22+ years old. I’m tired of living day to day depressed AF not knowing when it’ll break down and then really be screwed…
I’m so tired..
So tired. Since the VBA/VA broke their promise, I can only hope to win this since I can’t afford one..
BZ to all of my brothers and sisters on here. To those of you who succeeded, congrats.
To those of you who didn’t, keep living to succeed. Keep fighting!! You will succeed!!
I’m retired USAF Veteran. I’m now filling my passion for oil painting. Having the most reliable full size truck on the market would be a great asset to carry very large canvas, paints, and display tents.
It would be great ro own a Toyota
Too bad I cannot afford taxes, license, insurance, and gasoline for this truck. I guess about $11,000 would almost get it delivered including the first year of gas. Good luck to my more affluent Veteran brothers and sisters, I won’t be entering. My 20 year old Chevy Tahoe still doing just fine, and my 8 yo granddaughter loves it.
Good Luck Thanks for the donation “Hiring our heroes”
I drive an 18 yr old work truck. I decided to become a counselor so I will continue to drive this truck. If I would win I would pass on my truck to another vet or gold star kid! She has another 18 yrs in her.

My
i love trucks
I am an Air Force vet and really love my current Toyota. I’ve had it for 9 years. My husband a Marine had a Tundra and I loved it too. He gifted to our son who is in the Army. We proudly served/serving a combined total of over 55 years. Would do it again. I know whoever gets this vehicle will love it. I hope it goes to someone who really needs and deserves it. Good luck ?
I was seriously thinking of getting a truck as a second vehicle. Would be awesome to win something like this. I was in the Army for 4years, early 80’s. Good luck to very one that enters this contest.
I surely could use a new truck
I love Toyotas, I currently drive a Toyota Tacoma pre-runner 2006 and just love it thank – We also have a Toyota Highlander that we just love and use it for long road trips but I could sure use a little bigger truck because I haul a lot of things thank you
Win a Tundra! Awesome.
PICK ME!!!!!!!
I served in the military during the time that I was raising 3 children. One was born with special needs. Once I exited I joined the Columbia Police Department and served as a public servant. When I retired I opened a consignment store that was affordable for anyone. I offered free layaway and gave free wigs to anyone who was going through any life changing illness. I also donated to many people in need who needed basis needs. I have been a public servant all my life. Now at the age of 63 I would love to say that I finally have a new vehicle. It would be my dream.
I would love to have a new truck, as mine has almost 300,000 miles on it
Would love to win this. I currently don’t have a truck. It would be greatly appreciated. I am a disabled Navy veteran. Have always had a truck and could really use one now.
Own a 1985Tacoma was donated over 200000 miles, own a van le over 200000 give to my son, own 2002 rav4 almost 300000 miles, I still got it own Tacoma 4X4 give to my son, and 2005 mr2 6005 miles and still have it.
Are you really, bragging about having so many vehicles?
I would love to win this vehicle which has great gas mileage .I am disabled and have to drive or get a ride to the nearest V.A.M.C. I Augusta Georgia I live in rural Georgia and have alot of appt. This would really help alot on this fixed income Thank You for your time have a Blessed Day
Hopefully all is well
The VA helped me get cleaned
I am a 75 yr old disabled vet who needs a new pickup for my current one is a 2000 Chevy S10.
Oh Yeah, it would be great to own a new Toyota pickup truck. I’m sitting here thinking of all the adventures I would have with it. Thank you for offering this event.
It would be awesome to have a brand new Toyota Tundra, it would definitely be an awesome win.
As a NAVSPECWAR operator with Beach Jumper Unit, I served in country Vietnam from 02/1968 to 06/1972. We served in I-Corp, III-Corp and IV-Corp as Cover and Deception, Psychological Warfare and Electronic Warfare advisors. Our moto: “Any Place – Any Platform – Anytime”. We too had Sensor Application Team members. After my time in the Navy, I owned several pickup trucks, a true southern heritage. In 2013 my in country service caught up with me, Agent Orange reared its head and kicked my ass! Out of work for 3 years, I lost my truck and ability to maintain full time, physically challenging employment. As I continue to recover (not possible) from this “long slow walk with death”, I dream of owning another truck to go hunting (with a camera now), fishing with my grand children (for whom I pray daily that they do not show symptoms of Agent Orange), and glamping with the family. I am sure that the day is fast approaching that assisted walking equipment or wheel chair will be required for me to get around. If so, a truck will be a God send. Thank you for allowing me to vent. Welcome Home my brothers and sisters!
Navy vet here. From 1963-68
i’ve been a disabled veteran for many years. i was a “seabee”. i have been with the VA all along the way. i have had no complaints with them…but my wife says i did many years ago but we can not remember what it was about. a new truck would be a great blessing. thank you for the chance.
If I wasn’t retired I did hire veterans at my place of business. I would have loved to have a PU like this back in the 60″s.
I have never owned a Toyota but my friends swear by them.
This is such a wonderful, caring opportunity for our veterans and military personnel! I would love to win since I’ve never owned a truck before and could really use one.
But, if I don’t win it, my hope is for it to go to a deserving grateful person. Disabled USMC veteran here!
Only owned one new car my whole life when I was discharged back in 1969.
I had a pick up truck for 18.5 years both in the Marine Corps and in my retired life. We loved that truck and used it for just about everything. With all of the things I do that require a truck I’d be ecstatic to have another one. Renting trucks and trailers for everything I do could end with me saving all of those costs. I, too, served in Desert Shield and Desert Storm and am service connected with medical conditions. Whomever might win this truck I’ll be happy for them, however, I would love to win it myself. The VA is a great organization and has been very good to me and other veterans I know. Thank you for this opportunity to possibly win this truck!
11 years army as a medic
It would be Awesome!!!!!
I served in the Air Force from December 1974 to June 1980. A new truck would be a great help for me, i wouldn’t need to ask for a ride in a neighbor’s truck to pick up large loads.
I am a Disabled Navy Veteran. I would like to win the truck to replace the car that I need to give my son who lost his job. Plain and simple.
completed 25 years Navy from Nov. 1968 to Nov. 1993 thru Vietnam and Iraqi Freedom. can’t afford a new
truck but sure would be nice to own one I guess. there are others out there probably deserve it more than I
but always try
va helped me with medical bills
It would be nice to replace 17 year old Bessie , with a new just about anything…
Every Desert Shield/Desert Storm Veteran should receive a 2023 Toyota Tundra for excellent representation of the United States Military.
HI MY NAME IS KEN I SERVED 12 YEARS IN THE AIR FORCE.A VETERAN OF VIET NAM. I COULD USE A NEW TRUCK AS MY OLD CAR IS ON IT’S LAST LEG.I CAN’T AFFORD A NEW ONE AT THIS TIME. THANK YOU FOR ALL YOU DO FOR VETERAN’S
Sounds great!
Thanks to all the VA medical and all the staff for such care we receive. God Bless you all.
As a therapist and treatment provider for veterans with PTSD and a veteran myself I want to thank everyone who has worn the uniform as a member of a service in the United States of America. May God Bless everyone of you.
I would look really good in a brand new truck! I served 12 years in the Navy. I am a disabled veteran.
My truck is barely running and will cost more to fix it than the truck is worth. Even if I do the labor. So, I could certainly use the truck. Thank you from a retired combat vet.
Did I miss something? How do you enter to win the truck?
I believe this link will work. Have a great day! https://www.hiringourheroes.org/committed-sweepstakes/?fbclid=IwAR3g5CTqnC4pJQfIrVhMrReTw1Ct6EeDmN4QZ9E5wuw8Pu3WIkFvddKRkVY
I’m a recently retired Army LTC who served 35 years. I was 10 years enlisted and then went to OCS. Like others in the comments, I will donate the truck, if I win, to another needy VET. The VA and Army has helped me tremendously and I want to give back.
I want to Thank the VA for all the wonderful care I have received in the past 2 years at the Audie L. Murphey VA Medical Center in San Antonio Texas. Everyone you run into there is dripping with kindness & so helpful. I could certainly use a new Toyota Truck, thank you.
Nothing here tells you how to enter!!!
[Editor: Please click on the several links within the story that take you to the host, the entry form, and rules.]
I have never owned a new vehicles my entire life, and I’m in my 60’s. Never had the opportunity nor the resources where I could afford a new vehicle, let alone
own one even 5 years old. I feel guilty and a little embarrassed about making a comment on this. It would be absolutely amazing to me and the odds are about
the same as winning the lottery. But as the saying goes, you can’t win unless you enter or buy a ticket.
I’m a navy veteran and have been trying to figure out a way to buy a reliable vehicle to use so I can visit my grandchildren.
A new truck is exactly what I need to accomplish this. Help me make my dream come true.
Thanks
She wants a camper shell or 5th wheel
Why Veterans spouses are not eligible to enter this sweepstake? but active duty military spouse are we are just as worthy as they are we stood beside our Military Veteran when they were in the service and we are still standing by them.
I badly need transportation
Great idea
Rocky Mountain Regional VA Medical Center

This Medical Center has the most amazing expert doctors in the world. From the Primary Care Team, Emergency Room, Cardiology Specialists, Mental Health Team and all Nurses, My Hero’s that make it work.
Thank you so much for your kind and thoughtful concern in regard to my health and providing me with excellent medical and physical care. I am most grateful for your kindness whenever I see you.
I served during the VN era late 60’s.
I am classified disabled. I own a small General Contracting Company in Washington State. I am currently helping two young Air Force Veterans build their newly formed General Contracting Company (June of 2022). Neither one owns a truck only compact used cars. In my effort to help them get up and running, I pick up and deliver all their materials. They are both very upright, God Loving, honorable, True American Gentlemen. If I was to with this truck, I would gift the truth to them to help them on the way to success. I know I can not help much longer, I am almost 75 and due to my disabilities I am finding it harder and harder to help them. My truck is almost 20 years old but she should last me until I go home or can’t drive anymore.
To each and every Veteran who has served our country honorably, I proudly stand on my feet at attention and offer you a proud Salute!
To our Veteran’s Administration Employees, thank you for your incredible service you provide to help all of our Veteran’s. I salute you as well.
The VA not only sent me to school to obtain my MPA degree, but turned me on to a great career in government service working for the Navy Department and the Defense Department. Not only that, I met my wife of 40 years in the first class in school. I’ve always gotten great service and care from the VA whenever I’ve needed it from caring and dedicated professionals. Thanks VA>
It was an honor to serve next to my brothers and sisters in arms and I would do it all over again. Helpin others grow mentally and physically and be able to overcome certain challenges was beyond a blessing. Thankful for the VA to help me and my family our now. Salute to all those who have and still are serving.
I would love to win the truck, but doubt it’s possible. But thanks for the chance.
State like Hawaii and Alaska have a large population of Vets. The VA is supposed to support all veterans and this only divides us. Include us all. One team
Old and salty
Faith and Courage
Gotta love our VA. They are all we got.
Gotta love our VA.
Thank you for the opportunity to participate in this very noble cause. It was a memorable 20 year career in the Finest Navy in the world. As a Vietnam Veteran with many service connected disabilities the VA has contributed immensely to my overall health and well being for which I am forever grateful. If I should be the lucky participant to win the Rav4 it would ensure safe transportation and security for my family and provide peace of mind. Good luck to all that apply for this amazing opportunity .
Why isn’t Alaska and Hawaii veterans included? We served our nation too!
VA medical has provided as good and most of the time better service than I have ever received from the civilian sector. Thanks for all you do!
Alaska and Hawaii residents get screwed again. I know. We’re too far away, and we really don’t matter, unless you want a scenic vacation.
No wonder Alaskans refer to the “contiguous” states as the “Lower 48.” I won’t tell you what Hawaiians call you “Mainlanders,” to be politically correct. But it ain’t nice.
Wow, after reading others comments, I hope someone wins it that is needier than I am. Thank you for hiring our heroes!
I think this is a blessing for someone to have thought of this idea. Whether you are a veteran, active duty person, or a reserve. So many of us are suffering in so many ways unknowingly to the outside people. In some cases the area that we reside in don’t receive any help or the chance to win a gift such as a truck that’s listed above. Thank you to everyone for thinking about the easy forgotten soldiers. Weaver, Alabama resident ❤️?
Thank you VA I have been taken care through out my recovery from covid19……
The VA is doing good by me!
Discriminitory. Says I have to live in the contiguous United States. Why?
I served 20 years and was proud to do it. My family now lives in Wisconsin and doing pretty well. I am glad that the vVA is supporting all who have served
Winning a new vehicle would definitely be a blessing and life changer for me.
I believe that all physically and mentally should serve their country.
No thanks! I neither need a new truck (with all those privacy killing devices) nor do I need help getting a job. I was a COBOL programmer for over 40 years and, due to government and high tech hiring ONLY H1-B visa holders, I’ve been trying to get hired doing that for over 20 years. I’m working, just not in my profession. You fix that and I’ll be able to get work!
I am a Vietnam vet and I this is great for vets
I have a 1993 Chevy Silverado – all original (except tires, battery, transmission upgrade) 129,000 original miles, looks like an un-garaged 30-yr old, runs like new. It has been totaled due to a rear-ender that bent the bumper and a small dent in quarter panel. A few other nicks and bruises like the disabled VN vet. If I win the Tundra, this truck will go free to another vet who needs a pick-up. I will make sure it has a current state inspection at hand over.
Great opportunity for all vets. Thank you.
The VA Rocks!!! I am so appreciative of the caring support I have received at the Boise VA, one of the best in the country. I am now at the Wyoming Michigan VA Clinic where I receive equally excellent care. Thank you to all of the VA Staff throughout the country for all of your support.
Now that I’m retired it would be nice to retire that 92 Toyota pickup before the seat goes through the floor.
But our local VA Clinic does a terrific job and I’m glad to have them available for us.
VA KEEP UP THE WORK !!!
This is a wonderful program
Clarksville, TN is expanding Industrial business as they are expanding. Many jobs will be available with companies such as Hakcook Tires , Amazon and others. It will provide many veterans with a opportunity to obtain a productive job and future.
Vets are the best!
I have a 1999 tacoma
I currently drive a vehicle with over 220-Thousand miles on the odometer, and the last thing I need is a new car payment.
Hire a vet
Nice truck
I could use any vehicle-a truck will be just fine!
Need to include United States Public Health and National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration service members as they are part of the uniformed services as well, whether active duty or retired.
How do I enter?
I believe this link will work. Have a great day! https://www.hiringourheroes.org/committed-sweepstakes/?fbclid=IwAR3g5CTqnC4pJQfIrVhMrReTw1Ct6EeDmN4QZ9E5wuw8Pu3WIkFvddKRkVY
Disabled vet, just lost my job and truck. Would help to have new truck
Excellent idea! Some lucky cadre will be very happy. I would love to have a Toyota truck! Thank you.
Am also 100% TDIU, so I could do much more volunteering at the Veteran’s with this truck.
Have never had a new Truck. Always loved the toyota brand. Father had a compact Toyota pick up in the 70’s to early 80’s with 290,000+ miles on it when he traded it in. I could really use this truck to help my parents who live 1/10th of a mile up the road from me and both are in their 80’s now.
va save my life.
Thank you for letting me post a comment. I am a Marine Corp veteran. I drank the water at Camp Lejeune for 22 months from 1969, 70, 1971. I have joined the law suit. I could sure use a new Toyota
2 years active a year in VietNam and disable service injuries. Needed a truck many times and never owned a new one sure would be a blessing. Thank you all for your services and good luck
I’m an outdoors person, so a new truck would help my life style.
Keep up the good work for all the veterans.
Good morning everyone,
I served faithfully for over 26 years on active service and served three tours I Iraq.
My truck just gave out a month ago and living on a ranch that I started from scratch to help with my PTSD but I didn’t start this ranch just for me but for those who are just like me. My plans are to build tiny fully disabled equipped houses to give those just like me a peaceful place to visit and assist them to ease their mind. I live on a 115 acre ranch bordered by forestry and state land with wildlife all over. I want to start a hunting program as well to give those a chance without competition from all those who able to hunt without a disability.
The truck I just bought is costly because I needed a truck able to work hard and haul hay for all our animals.
I would greatly appreciate a truck that comes without a payment so that I can focus that money into my dream for those who want to dream without being in fear of their nightmares.
Thank you and especially all those who served faithfully and with courage to go to places all that fear to go.
THIS I WILL DEFEND!
I went in, put in 4 years in the States and went home. I would hope your contest will honor combat active duty or veterans. These are the ones deserving my respect.
I am a disabled veteran that served in South East Asia and numerous other countries and locations during my 11 years in the Air Force.
We would love to win a new truck that would make entry much easier and less painful than a car to enter.
My eleven year old Toyota runs great! Really don’t need to replace it, but…..
Proud to have served my country and grateful for the support from the VA health care. I am always excited in seeing new information from the VA newsletter. Keep up the great job team.
generous of Mr. Toyota for gifting …… thanks
A dream come true for a new truck because I can’t even afford a used one.
The VA has been very good to me.
Great way to say “Thank You For Your Service”
The V.A. has been wonderful in providing care to me for many years. I am grateful for it’s existence. Chuck.
24 Years Active Duty with 11 Deployments and have never owned a NEW Truck. This would be a true blessing from GOD.
looks like nice truck, would be good replacement for my 23 year old ford.
I’m glad to have VA health care. Its been a great help to our family.
Could definitely use a new truck.
Never thought being blind would disqualify me from entering a contest for a Tundra. It’s true, I do not have a drivers license. My caretaker does. Thank the Almighty for Caretakers!
I’ll take a new truck
A truck would be very useful in picking up donated food that we distribute to our local community.
No thank you.
Why would I want a vehicle that will pollute the environment.
Why don’t you use this opportunity to introduce environmentally friendly vehicle?
While I am at it, I consider the VA newsletter a pretty worthless source of real and true information.
All of that survival diet, is more than garbage.
Beyond the worthless newsletter, I find the VA a very helpful organization for many needs…
The VA reps have been exceptional assisting me with my disability claim.
could use a new vehicle
This would be great, especially since I don’t currently own ANY vehicle.
First time did not know anything about this thanks to all fellow service men especially Marine Corps
Well… I served in the Air Force, but I’m US Space Force now, (sarcasm) guess I’m ineligible as Space Force isn’t listed… (end). In all seriousness now, know this, you have at least one VA member in the Space Force. I’m still entering this contest; I’d enjoy a new truck, more hauling opportunities.
I totally agree with David Micheal Flaherty (comment above). I’m also a 100% Disabled Veteran (SCI – C6/C7 Complete Fracture – Tetraplegic – AND- Epilepsy) So, no driving here. I feel your pain Brother!
I appreciate the help I have received from the VA and it’s services. It makes all the difference when facing medical challenges.
Well, here goes nothing. My 2002 Silverado, which I bought new is starting to show signs of impending “retirement”.
You never know!!
I love the care i get at va murfreesboro,tn. and chattanooga and love the folks that work there, only complaint is its almost impossible to get someone on the phone, the va needs to hire people to answer phone, i know the med. folks are so busy to answer. thanks and god bless all va workers.
Murfreesboro is a great place to work as well. I’m both an employee and a patient here.
I thought I give it a try
I need a truck to get some work to survive
I too agree it should be for 100% disabled Veterans. A lot of them cannot work and cannot afford a vehicle payment. It may very well improve their mental health too have mobility.
What a great opportunity. Thank you for all you do.
Thank you Toyota
All my thoughts and prayers to all my fellow veterans.
I agree with David Flaherty. I was excited when I saw this. Thinking I could win it and my wife could drive me. Then I saw the rules, and it said you have to have a drivers license. I am a visually impaired disabled vet, and cannot enter. I wish we could enter-but I will be glad to see somebody win it!
I need a new truck
Hiring a veteran is the right thing to do they served our country in a time of need and usually sacrificed a good job to do it. An NFL football player comes to mind and t think his name was Tilman
Nice story about winning a truck. Too bad no information about how to enter the contest!!!! How rude of the VA to tease Vets!!!
[Editor: Please click on one of the several links in the story that takes you to the rules, the application, or the contest host.]
Great opportunity for Veterans
I don’t know what I would do if not for VA. I can’t afford private insurance and medical service, but VA gives me all the protection I need GOD bless the VA and it’s services.
I was in a car accident, insurance paid off my car. So far have a friend driving me to and from work.
If I win the truck, I will pass it a long to a veteran who will need it more than I.
Great ideal giving away the most reliable truck on the road.
Would love to have a new vehicle
Great chance to win a great new vehicle! Since my current car is badly out of shape it would be awesome to win. Thanks for the opportunity!
Just like all other contests true chance of winning is not leaning the odds in my favor, but what the heck I have to try.
Semper Fi to all my fellow Marine Brothers and Sisters!
Great, I don’t know what my chances are, But I’m in.
At eightytwo I could sure use a dependable truck. it would be the only new automobile I would have ever owned. My driver license is up to date so is my insurance.
great .. will they adapt it for a wheelchair? Hand-gas? Also,100% disabled. I’m in Germany (last active duty post), Do they have dealers here? My current car has 110,000km and 13 years old. It really neede replacement before it stops…. on the road.
Truck good… terrorists bad. Please let me win truck! Thanks
It is hard to find the Truck entry form.
I always wanted a pick-up truck, thx for the opportunity!…
I see that you did not include commissioned officers of the USPHS who hold military rank, are paid and receive pensions based on that rank and years served, and are eligible for care at VA facilities. This oversight needs to be corrected.
I look forward to reading my VA News and watching the podcasts. Everything a veteran needs to know in one little package.
Thank you,
Jim M.
Really. Cool!
Thank You for this great opportunity to drive something a lot newer (2005 Ford) a lot classier, a lot cleaner and shinier. The gas mileage extremely nice.
REALLY, a FOREIGN Vehicle??? Once we were better than that.
[Editor: They’re built in San Antonio, Texas. They were previously made in Indiana: https://pressroom.toyota.com/twenty-years-of-tundra/ ]
What a great thing to help someone who has served their country! I know myself that winning a truck can help me do many things that ordinarily I would have to rent a truck or pay someone else to haul for me.
How unfortunate Totyota limits entries to the contiguous US. Why? I’m sure if a lucky sole won it that resides in Hawaii or Alaska, they would pay to have it shipped.
Rather have a job than a truck
Thanks for this opportunity. This old Vietnam vet appreciates it
I am a veteran in need of work and housing. I need help. I suffer from depression and I have trouble holding down a job. Please help.
I’m older than dirt but can still work
I thank would sell the truck and help needed Vets.
The Dayton, OH VA Hospital needs drastic improvements, especially with reducing waiting periods for appointments.
What an awesome great movement to honor our Veterans by providing
employment opportunities! Thank you!
Good deal, but I never win anything but maybe two dollars on the lottery
N
ever won anything. EVER. Navy 1963-1966 Vietnam. USS SAN MARCUS AND USS TORTUGA.

This is an insult to AMERICA, when what an American military institution is pushing a FOREIGN automobile to people who protected THIS nation.
I am not Japanese, and have no desire whatsoever to own any of their products.
How about giving away an AMERICAN automobile, like a Chevy or a Tesla?
Good Luck to All
WHAT AN OUTSTANDING GIFT FOR VETERAN AND HIS OR HER FAMILY!!!
Will visit soon
As a disabled Army Veteran with limited income winning a New Tundra would be great
Thank you ?
Oops not a ❓
The fact that this contest disqualifies Veterans living outside the lower 48 states – contiguous US- is discrimination and disrespectful to Vets living elsewhere. I realize shipping costs are astronomical but feel some allowance should be made for said Vets.
Good to see this kind of activity. A recent action is to qualify some military and I expect that might be extended to veterans too, as commercial truck drivers. I know that in northern North Dakota last month the farms were crying for all kinds of drivers for their trucks and the nationwide shortage or commercial truck drivers might be an opportunity for those interested.
Outstanding program. Appreciate all you do for Veterans.
Thank you so much that would be amazing.
Wow I could use this truck.
Thanks for the opportunity to win a new truck. Will be browsing hiring our heroes.
I really need transportation. It is really hard and tiring having to walk and take the bus for everthing I do. Shopping, getting back and forth to my doctors appointments and even going to church. I haven’t had a vehicle since 2012. I used to be a vehicle operator in the United States Air Force and drove public transportation. I really need a vehicle
I’ve been working in the veteran community as a Veterans Service Officer shortly after separating from the Marine Corps in 2014. The Corps changed my life, but becoming a VSO saved my life after losing my way due to loss of identity and struggling to accept help with mental health. I’m grateful to work alongside several non-profit organizations that serve Active Duty, Retirees, and veterans ranging from free counseling for PTSD/MST (Vet Centers), Swords to Plowshares (employment, housing, legal, etc.), and Hiring our Heroes. Our mission is the same: service after service. Two of my recent transitioning service members informed me that they have firm job offers after reaching out to Hiring Our Heroes and the assistance they were provided. Receiving those phone calls is a very satisfying and heartwarming feeling. This is another amazing opportunity that will change someone’s life. Thank you, from the bottom of my heart.
Thanks for taking care of all veterans
Would be amazing if I won, this would be the first time I ever won anything on a draw.
I want to win.
THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THIS OPPORTUNITY. I AM A KOREAN WAR VET AND HAVEN’T HAD A NEW CAR IN 40 YEARS…..
I am a service connected Vet living in Kodiak Alaska. This means I can not enter to win the truck. It also means you people suck.
Another sweepstake
Thanks for your support!
Have retired now after serving over 20+ yrs on active duty…a Veteran Farmer now and in need of a truck. Currently, have an old 2000 beater of a truck.
Having SS benefits, some medical expenses are not covered. I went to the VA medical and it saved much of my limited funds.
I doubt ill win since i dont see where to sign up lol
not sure if im eligible since my discharge says general under honorable conditions, i suffered from psychological problems, now recognized as ptsd which i received help with at my local VA facility. back in the old days they just called it whatever was popular at the time.
That is awesome for a veteran to get a new truck. Even when we go somewhere my caregiver helps with that. They can use the truck to help a veteran to get around to their appointments. I am at 90% that last 10% the hardest to aquire, this is a good incentive, somewhat. Government needs to help more for all veterans, especially those who have had hard times.
I didn’t know most 100% of disabled veterans don’t drive. Where did you get your statics? In California, there are over 80,000 free disabled veteran license plates that have been issued. I am 100% disabled and have one of the earlier plates. I would guess that more than 90% of those 100% disabled veterans drive their vehicles. And yes it is a great vehicle but since I am going to win, why bother to fill out the application? I already filled out the application so you will lose.
How can I enter?

I sure could use a dependable vehicle, VA appointment etc are had to get to Great opportunity to be lucky it would be like winning the lottery. Thank you for the opportunity.
This is cool.
Great idea!
Thanks for the opportunity to get a Great vehicle.
Win a pickup truck. It won’t fit my narrow driveway with a couple inches on each side as my 2015 Subaru Outback does. However, the lower end Toyota of the same outward appearance (with differences) with a nice towing capacity for my little trailer and bike holder. Is it possible (if a winner) to do a little trading to get something that will work? Near the end of October, I head to the Phoenix Arizona area for the winter, and spend the summer in the top of California near the town of Mount Shasta. Is it possible to pick it up in Yreka CA (a Toyota dealer) when we get back in the spring, instead of having to re-register in California (we stay the longest there, so that becomes our home state)? So many little problems to resolve, but if I manage to get the lucky draw, that is what I have to deal with to fit the driveway without tearing out the sidewall of a tire, as the curb on the driveway does a great job of that, as our house is on a 11% grade that crosses the front of the house! We inherited it – would have never bought it though.
I didn’t know that most 100% of disabled veterans don’t drive. In California, there are over 80,000 free disabled veteran’s license plates that have been given to 100% disabled veterans, the only ones that are eligible for the plate. I have one and have had it since California started issuing them. While there is not a requirement that the person driving the vehicle be a veteran, I’ll bet most of the drivers, or even 90% or more are the veteran with his or herself having a 100% disability that qualified for the license.
Never really won anything in my life (except the love of my wife), but, as they say, nothing ventured nothing gained! Having served was an honor for me. Whoever wins this deserves the win…
It would be a blessing to win!
I want to know why veterans in Alaska and Hawaii are EXCLUDED from this sweepstakes! I would appreciate a response.
It be nice. What more can a VET say.
Here one of Winston Churchill quotes; “If you’re going through hell, keep going”. That my life.
I think this is a great thing that they are doing. There are so many other organizations that do this it’s about time this is done for Vets.
Being a 90% disabled Veteran and wanting to start my own business as a service dog trainer a truck is just what I need to help get the paws on the ground!
Good luck to everyone and myself!!
Thanks for your help
Sounds like an excellent offer for Vets that are in financial shortness for purchasing a newer vehicle
doing good work, thank you
Thanks for the opportunity. Just traded my last truck for a new van for the wife. Now she misses my truck. LOL Fingers crossed for this one. Always great to see people help out Veterans. Thanks Again!!
What a great idea, thank you……Andy
There are a lot of veterans in the state of Alaska. I am a 100% disabled veteran who lives here! Saying you have to reside in the contiguous US is absurd. I could understand in the United States, but to exclude 2 states is ridiculous.
I am fully commited to the programs being promoted. Our veterans deserve nothing less for serving America. It would be an outstanding birthday as the contest ends on my birthday: 12/07/1946 (Pearl Harbor Anniversary)
I want to win
Sure could use, on a fixed income.
Whoo Hoo! Yoo Hoo! Howdy Do! ???
Hope i can win this truck i need a better truck. Mine has a blown engine and a bad transmission.
Would be nice if they had a Van for a disabled vet to drive with hand control, a lift with auto door, and lock in place settings for the chair.
Just saying!
Great idea giving away a new truck the way the economy is
Thank You
I’m happy to see companies like this do great things for veterans. I just hope they are able to help much more than just one!
This is great and all but where is the link to submit an entry? All I see is my hopes getting up and no where to put them
[Editor: There are several links in the story.]
Such an great opportunity to give back to a deserving Veteran!!
I served in Vietnam in 19 68–69, and won hush a try Purple Heart and bronze star. I on the Toyota tundra, in 2006, it is the best vehicle I ever had sure would love to win one now… thank you and God bless everyone has served this wonderful country.
I had a Toyota truck about 6 years ago
I now have a sienna
You can’t win it if you’re not in it.
I am very interested in this pick-up.
it would be really nice to have a new one like that, i own a 2010 Toyota Camry great match the two.
I find it highly insulting that you exclude the state of Hawaii, which has a 10% Veteran population, from your sweepstakes. Hiring the Heroes in Hawaii must not be part of the plan.
Tim Dineen
Proud Veteran (1969-1973)
This is BS !!! What about all the veterans and service members that live in Alaska and Hawaii what are we chopped liver now!! You folks should be ashamed of yourselves doing it like this!! What our service means nothing to you folks. Why not just say If we win then it is our responsibility to get the truck home if that is the issue. How can you leave anyone that served in any manner with an honorable discharge be excluded in any way. This is not right!
I need a new truck
Thanks for the opportunity to win a new vehicle. At the moment I have an old car that I get around in. Well I hope who ever win really can use a good vehicle for their family.
Jesse
It is very wrong for the VA or it’s staff to urge veterans to enter this sweepstakes. It will result in your personal information being used by the Chamber of Commerce and they can according to their policy sell or give it to anyone they like. The opt out method makes it so diffult to opt out that it actually is not a real opt out choice. I will no longer shop at websites where they sell my data to more than a few trackers used to improve their service. The Chamber of Commerce comes right out in the privacy policy to state they feel no obligation to honor requests not to be tracked.
I am ashamed for the VA to stoop to this level. Toyota and the chamber are using the VA and what first might appear to be generous is just another marketing tool using veterans trust in VA to obtain our personal information. Most vets will jump at a free car and wont read the long lack of privacy notice. I intend to contact Senator Patty Murray and VA Director Dennis McDonough to call foul on the VA selling us out for a few pieces of silver.
I will also research whether in addition there are any payments going from the chamber or Toyota to any VA personnel or to a VA affiliate. Actually giving away this car while collecting and spreading our personal information is a cheap way for them to obtain it. I also intend to contact Toyota headquarters to tell them there are bringing dishonor to their company by allowing the chamber to use veterans to collect information that will be used to sell to chamber members or really anyone. You could drive a Mack truck through the giant holes in their Non Privacy Policy masquerading as Privacy.
If someone wants to give something away to Vets in honor of our service they should just do it and not prey on us for financial gain. If I am able to shine a light on this practice it will cost Toyota when people learn what they are taking from us. It is a marketing scam if there ever was one. The shame is that the VA is not only allowing it but actually promoting it. That is why I intend to find out who in the VA has authorized this scheme and why they think they are helping us by tricking us into giving our personal information to someone who states they will do anything they want to do with veterans names, phone numbers and email addresses.
You cheapen your mission by promoting a cheap publicity stunt that harms veterans and gives the chamber thousands of veterans personal information at a cheaper cost than if they paid for it from a data broker. I will never trust anything I see from the so called VA News again knowing that their coziness with private interests outweighs their devotion to those who served. As a totally and permanently disabled combat veteran I am outraged that anyone in the actual VA chain of command has knowledgeably authorized this marketing scheme that is without honor. The VA works for US citizens with congressional oversight and I urge anyone who gets to read this to join me in defending other veterans who might trust messages when the letters VA appear in the publication. You cannot trust this site to defend your interests. We must defend them ourselves.
Ask your Congressional delegation and VA officials to halt use of our personal data. You have a better chance of winning at a Las Vegas slot machine than you have in winning a sweepstakes like this one. They even require me to give them personal information I dont trust them with to make this comment. They also only show the two most recent reviews that they allow to appear thereby limiting other veterans from reading comments or learn what is going on here. Sad but true that the VA honors veterans by letting private interests like the Chamber of Commerce use them to sell us products.
Good afternoon, have a question regarding the sweepstakes entry. I entered my information and it’s telling me my email has already been entered. Is entry into sweepstakes a one time in a lifetime deal, cause I don’t even remember last time I entered. This is for the 2023 Toyota.
Thanks for the support to hire Veterans
Great cause! Thanks Hiring our Heroes!
I think Veterans Administration is truly connecting and engaging with us Veterans than in the past. Kudos!
I’ll be getting my license soon. A vehicle would really enhance my chances of getting a job.
It would be nice to win a vehicle. My “new” car is a 2006, and my older one 1998.
A new pickup would be a real blessing
I am a 100% disabled vet, I still am able to drive myself, a new truck would be a real blessing.
Would love to win this truck.
Okay, how does a veteran enter this contest. Way too much junk to enter this contest.
Toyotas are the best. Hope I have a chance!
Come to me Mr Toyota.
It truly warms my heart to see so many organizations reach out to America’s veterans and provide so many opportunities. I’m a disabled combat veteran and am truly humbled by the support I’ve received from the VA and supporting organizations. If I win I will definitely share with pride this opportunity and the country that makes it possible.
I’ve never won anything.
Forever faithful, forever loyal and forever a HERO
Kinda *ucks people living in Alaska and Hawaii
Great opportunity to get a new truck that I currently can not affor.
I live in Alaska sorry it’s not part of contiguous United States so I can’t enter I am a Vet I have friends in the 48 So can I enter ???
Definitely on my list.Thank to all that help our nation Vet.
I love the information provided by the VA Newsletter. It helped me navigate in many discouraging situations that have indeed been resolved. Giving me the ability to help fellow former service members.
I would love a chance to win a new truck.
Disabled veterans don’t have the funds resources to get a vehicle they can drive.
Had to get rid of my 1995 pickup and now have nothing to haul things. Would love to have something I can rely on.
Pick me! Pick me! LOL!
Well I haven’t been able to work since 1997 because of being 100 percent and permanently disabled veteran, so how can I enter the work force. So it seems that not all veterans can enter the sweepstakes for the truck.
It is great what you do for Veterans. Keep up the good work.
I am 100% disabled and still able to drive so I’ll take a chance.
Great contest and giveaway! Thank you for the opportunity! I think they need a disabled female veteran winner as I have never seen a female veteran win any of these contests, maybe this one will be different! :)
C’mon gals!!
I love to see an organization that remembers the people who serve to protect our country.
I feel more busness need to hire veterans for there commitment to work they are more likely to do a better job
Could sure use a pick up truck, my wife is tired of me using her Higlander to haul thing.
I would love to win a new truck, currently I am driving a 2015 Colorado with 110K runs good but I been putting on allot miles I am an RN doing homecare
This would be fantastic my husband is Vietnam veteran and of course disabled and in a facility at this time but to be able
To travel to see him would be wonderful considering it’s a 4 day drive away I try to see him once every few years
Must have entered a sweepstakes for a vehicle 30/40 times before with no success. Sure would be nice.
Thank you for caring for service members and veterans. I wish I had known about organizations like yours when I got out of the service back in the 70’s. Please keep up the good work.
You can never win if you never enter. This vehicle would pull a camper so I can achieve my dream of traveling across the country Bucket Lists Where my current honda can not. Thanks and good luck to everyone.
were is form to enter the sweepstakes
I’m entering for my husband who is a Vietnam vet. He still drives every now and then. 100% disabled
I am a Disabled Veteran suffering from the effects of Radiation that I received due to prostate Cancer, after exposure to Agent Orange in Vietnam. It would be a Blessing to have a reliable Toyota Vehicle to replace my 2001 Mercury Gran Marque
It’s funny how in every contest or any benefit the veterans have its never the same for the ones that live in Puerto Rico. It’s sad that we went to the same as everyone else to defend the nation, but we always been treated less. I guess we are only good to fill the ranks and do the dirty work. I hope whoever wins the truck have enough health to have fun with it .
For the future veterans from Alaska, Hawaii and Puerto Rico should be allowed to participate.
A dream come true
It would be great to win. Here we go
I would love to have an opportunity to win a nice new truck. I always wanted a truck, but never could afford especially a new one. I am sure there are many other veterans that are more deserving. God Bless America!!
Let’s get it on! This would be nice for any veteran to win. I especially hope that it it’s a Vietnam Veteran since we owe them a debt that we cannot repay. Semper Fi to all of you who served in Nam and the rest of your days be blessed.
Why are you leaving out veterans in Alaska and Hawaii? Do we not count? This is really piss poor to leave people out for ANY reason. VA is all-inclusive huh? How pathetic… bad enough there are few if any accommodations made for those who serve and who have served… same as all the others down south.
Piss poor management
The VA has been my help link when I needed it most!
I am hopeful. Probably the only way I can ever own a new Tundra.
I am a proud navy veteran and say god bless America
I have a 2014 Toyota…sure could use a new one.
It would be so nice to give my daughter a new car.
What about Space Force vets? Aren’t they eligible? Also, shouldn’t it be from an American company?
WoW. Me Me Me ……. please
WoW…. Would LOVE a new vehicle… To expensive to buy nowadays.
I filled out the entry form for the possibility of winning this year’s vehicle (Toyota Tundra) only to find out that veterans living outside CONUS are not eligible. I strongly believe that it’s not fair especially to us war veterans who live in Puerto Rico, Hawaii, Alaska and other U.S. territories.
Having a small truck would be a great help in both myself and my families lives
Have donated for years for disabled. Excited for the opportunity to win a truck.
When I click on where it says “ENTER SWEEPSTAKES HERE” nothing happens. Is there another way to enter?
I really need this. My vehicle is always breaking down and I can’t afford even a used vehicle. As being 100% disabled, it would be a great help.
Odds are slim, but wouldn’t it be great!!!
How do I enter the contest? I served in the US Army from 1964-1967 during Vietnam and worked for the VA in Behavioral Health for 22 years. I’m 20% service connected.
I’m going on an honor flight in October which I’m very proud of.
Does a Vietnam Veteran qualify for entrance to this drawing……………….
probably won’t win truck I can’t even get a I D card old Vietnam veteran 1973
I bet whoever wins this truck has to pay the tax and cost of shipping plus who knows whatever other amount required. So if you got to pay for something, you really didn’t win anything.
wow, I think my chances are low for now. But when does it end try to make up more chances, my license will soon get expired. Coming for this seriously
I’m a disable combat veterans. I thanks ?? for the opportunity to have a great chance of winning the new vehicle.it would be nice to win it.
Hi Michael!! You never know, your chances of winning are just as grand as anyone else’s! I seriously think we should set up a carpool thing for us all in each state, maybe Toyota can consider this, and have more sweepstakes! That way even if your license expires, one of us can still come and get ya if you don’t win and one of us do!! If you do, take pics and post em!!!!
Great opportunity to get a Great Vehicle; the only problem is that most 100% disabled veterans do not have licenses to drive and need to rely on someone else to transport them where they have to go! Maybe they should be given a higher priority. Thank you for letting me blow off so much steam, but few people consider disabled veterans.
Speaking as someone who’s lucky enough not to be disabled, I fully agree. More that that, the vehicle should be equipped with whatever extras the disabled Vet needs (wheelchair ramps or whatever) and customized to the winners needs.
Any veteran should have the same opportunity as the next, disabled or not! You asking for a better chance to win is NOT what a veteran is about!! You should be ashamed for your comment!!
Thats great. maybe they could raffle tickets for an SUV capable for handicaps, with just them entering.
Come on man!!!! Your whining like a little B/kid…. !00% disabled veterans can drive, walk, and even fly planes. You have no idea what your saying.
Yes this is bordering discrimination
“most 100% disabled veterans do not have licenses to drive and need to rely on someone else to transport them” where did you get that statistic?
Hi David!! My husband is disabled vet as well, I have to drive him everywhere, so I get what your saying. Our only car lost its transmission 3 days ago, and winter is coming here in the mountains. I lost my job, so there’s no replacing it now. If we win, maybe we can all set up a carpool and I can help out with the driving needs??!!!
20 years active duty US COAST GUARD AND USAF COMBINED served in Vietnam 1968-1969, active military service 1956-1977.
The VA has taken care of my health needs tremendously well! I’am grateful for that I’ m age 83 and I’am a goodlife member of the VFW, and the AMERICAN LEGION and the DAV organizations, I’m a proud American and Believe strongly in the All mighty GOD and country and conservative values.
I do :-(
too many forgotten sadly
I totally agree with David Michael. I’m also a 100% Disabled Veteran (SCI – Tetraplegic – C6/C7 Complete Fracture – AND- Epilepsy). So, no driving here… I feel your pain, Brother!
Them being given “a higher priority” would be an unfair advantage and likely make the entire contest illegal, bud. And I speak as one–I’m at 100% and I have a license and drive. Take it easy David.
