American Corporate Partners (ACP) connects post-9/11 Veterans with corporate professionals for customized mentorships. Veterans find meaningful employment outcomes, whether a higher-paying job or a promotion. The average starting annual salary for Veterans who use ACP is $93,000. The program helps Veterans find great jobs the first time.
ACP is a national non-profit organization dedicated to helping military Veterans make connections in the civilian workforce. 
Since 2010, more than 26,000 Veterans have found success through ACP.
How to get started
Visit ACP’s website and fill out a brief application. Answer questions about your career goals, military experience and mentoring preferences.
What to expect after applying?
- ACP will reach out within one business day to schedule a 15-minute phone call to ask a few more questions to match the Veteran with the right mentor.
- ACP will introduce you to a mentor within several weeks of your application to the program. ACP will also check in throughout the year to provide customized resources and ensure positive outcomes. Nearly 100% of Veterans would recommend ACP.
- All post-9/11 Veterans who served at least 180 days of active duty since 9/11 are eligible.
- ACP’s weekly LinkedIn Live series connects Veterans directly to partner companies and hiring managers.
- ACP’s LinkedIn Group, ACP Connects, offers employment opportunities from military-ready employers and professional development resources.
ACP’s roster of mentors is unmatched: senior executives from hundreds of America’s top companies, like Amazon, Disney, Johnson & Johnson, Lockheed Martin, Morgan Stanley and more provide volunteer mentors to ACP.

Well, I am a disabled Vet prior to 9/11. I have tons of experience in various fields. Do you have any programs that all Veterans are able to apply for?
So less then 10% conversion on the ACP program… oh, and the “ESTIMATED” average salary… so in other words, we just guessing. This is offensive to veterans and should be scrutinized more before publishing. Just another scam non-profit with terrible results but high salaries for the board members.

No one would hire a Vietnam veteran. and now it’s to late. Don’t tell them you’re a vet and you might get hired.
This is truer than it should be, and not just for Vietnam veterans.

Ask to speak with either the veteran representative or the education representative. They can help you assess your employment capabilities and get you placed. If you need other assistance, like gas cards, or help filling out a form, you can call 2-1-1 from anywhere in Texas and they can give you assistance providers near you (that number is for United Way Texas). Why are veterans prior to 9/11 not eligible?
The PTSD program at fort roots, AR. AA/NA recovery assistance ie. Rehab centers are in my opinion, one of the best places ever to get results from recovery.. learning about coping with trauma in war and allow directly affected coping per atrocity inccured during/from combat. Focus breathing for example, nature walks, groups from all armed forces sharing experiences with one another; to feel like you’re not alone ? was one of those great breakthroughs in my pride armorer… (Suck it up! Drive on! IF you can’t get it for yourself? It’s not meant to have!!) Was a hinder in thinking Post combat. Until those programs @ NLR Fort roots, AR. Changed my life ? forever ♾️.thx Tulsa Ok

It seems to be that post war veterans are the priority which I find to be discriminatory. I served in the military, although not during time of war, I have never received the treatment this group of veterans has been given. I’m glad they are not being forgotten but other veterans are still struggling to find their place in work society. Please help all veterans that need assistance with employment.
The Montgomery GI bill was around prior to the 2000’s and the post 9/11 bill. I can’t remember the deadline to redeem those benefits but check into that, you likely paid into it to receive it. Unless you’re talking about serving prior to 85, then in that case you’re going to have to find a non-profit to help.
What if I am currently disabled with severe depression and PTSD? Can I still use ACP to help me get back in a career?
How does VA help someone start farming? Is this available through ACP program?
