Veterans experiencing or at risk of homelessness are encouraged to contact the National Call Center for Homeless Veterans at (877) 4AID-VET (877-424-3838) for assistance. They may also seek support for housing solutions, health care and community employment services online.
VA’s Veterans Justice Outreach Program contacts justice-involved Veterans to help them access VA services at the earliest possible point. This is accomplished through partnerships between VA and elements of the criminal justice system. While VA cannot provide legal services, Veterans can seek legal assistance by visiting State Side Legal, or by contacting the nearest Veteran Justice Outreach specialist.
