In this episode of Borne the Battle, host Pablo Meza speaks with Rebecca Keough, who shares her journey from serving in the Army to becoming the Veterans Experience Office (VEO) Contact Center director. Here, she shares how MyVA411 helps Veterans navigating VA services.
What is MyVA411?
1-800-MyVA411 (1-800-698-2411) is an easy-to-remember phone number linking Veterans to VA resources. Established in 2020, it’s a “front door” for callers to talk to VA. Callers can “share concerns, offer recommendations, or ask questions” about VA care, benefits and services.
Available 24/7, the team behind MyVA411 handled 1.2 million phone calls in 2022 with an average response time under 28 seconds. Best of all, it’s available to all Veterans, regardless of whether they are enrolled in the VA health care.
