As we celebrate Independence Day with our family, friends and communities, honoring the values that make our country special, we at VA rededicate ourselves to the mission to provide Veterans—those who make our way of life possible—with the care and support they have earned in defending our great nation.

At VA, what we do isn’t just work. It’s a calling, a commitment to shared service that brings our team together. Being of service lies at the heart of all that we do for Veterans and for each other. Every day, we come to work knowing that what we do will make a difference in the lives of the people we serve.

In return for sharing our mission, working at VA can provide numerous rewards that can help you change the way you look at your job. From unrivaled health care benefits and insurance options to providing a work/life balance that can’t be beat, a career at VA pays dividends.

Veterans are used as lab rats and exploited by the VA staff. No body really cares about the veterans and their families. My records are available to anyone who works at the hospital. They will not tell me who is getting into my records or even what VA hospital they work at. We don’t need more staff we need honest staff. Of course once hired into the VA they become hired for life not matter what they do.
