Labor Day provides us with an opportunity to reflect on the work that we do here at VA, and the hard-working people who show up every day to make VA’s ongoing mission of service to Veterans a reality.
As many of us enjoy a well-earned respite from our duties for the holiday, many members of our team will stand ready to serve those who have served this country. VA never closes, and every day—even a holiday—is an opportunity to recognize the people who make this organization one of the top five Best Places to Work in the Federal Government.
In support of our team, we continue to work on hiring employees faster, increasing scheduling flexibility and reducing practice inefficiencies. In so doing so, we can empower you to have more control over your workday, promote a healthy work-life balance, support your well-being, and strengthen our culture to support you.
All that and more is available with every VA career. No matter your position, we offer numerous employment benefits that will make a difference for you and your family.
