VA has once again been named one of the top five Best Places to Work in the Federal Government by the Partnership for Public Service.

According to our employees, we’re among the highest ranked of the government’s largest agencies, maintaining a spot in the survey’s top five for the second year in a row.

Produced by the nonprofit, nonpartisan Partnership for Public Service with the assistance of Boston Consulting Group, the annual rankings measure employee engagement and satisfaction.

Our concerns about our employees led to the formation of the Reduce Employee Burnout and Optimize Organizational Thriving (REBOOT) Task Force two years ago. The task force’s mission is to address burnout and promote professional fulfillment among employees.

Task force leaders have been hard at work, and with their help, we remain focused on how we can continuously improve the working environment at our more than 1,300 facilities.

By hiring employees faster, increasing scheduling flexibility and reducing practice inefficiencies, we can empower frontline employees to have more control over their workday.     Employees are exploited by management every opportunity they get and won’t give you anytime for work life balance. If you tell them about burnout they think your not working hard enough and will fire you
