Veterans who rely on CPAP (continuous positive airway pressure) machines to manage sleep-related breathing disorders, including sleep apnea, now have a new streamlined online ordering system for CPAP supplies.
VA has added the CPAP supply ordering feature as part of the online tool that’s already in place, same as how Veterans order hearing aid supplies on VA.gov. The addition improves how Veterans order, manage and efficiently receive health care supplies. It’s a notable improvement to the previous CPAP supply ordering process, which was by phone call or traditional mail order forms sent to VA’s Denver Logistics Center (DLC).
Last year, VA’s Logistics Center shipped nearly 5.5 million apnea care products, with the majority being supplies such as masks, tubing, filters and more. These are some of the items Veterans can now conveniently request directly online. Within one week of launch for the new online CPAP supplies ordering feature, 24.1 percent of CPAP supply orders were placed on VA.gov, and we anticipate the number will grow to be twice as many daily orders as hearing aid supplies.
In the future, VA’s Office of Information and Technology will add more ordering supply types to the VA.gov tool.
A seamless ordering experience
When Veterans sign in to their VA.gov accounts for ordering, the VA.gov platform allows for a more efficient ordering experience by prefilling certain order details based on the user’s account information. Veterans can even start an order, save it as a work in progress, and return later to complete it. This feature grants a generous 60-day window to finalize and submit orders, providing a flexible approach to ordering CPAP supplies.
How to place an order
To get started with a supply order, Veterans should have the following details ready:
- Shipping address
- Email address
- Information about your hearing aids
- Information about your CPAP machines
What to expect when ordering
The ordering process involves several key steps:
- Confirmation of personal information
- Confirmation or editing of shipping address and email address
- Selection of hearing aids requiring batteries
- Selection of necessary hearing aid accessories
- Selection of essential CPAP supplies
- A final review and submission of the order
Once a Veteran successfully submits an order, they’ll receive a confirmation message, which can be retained for records.
Track and receive your order
Within 1 to 2 days of order submission, Veterans will receive an email containing an order tracking number. This number allows for easy monitoring of the order’s status. Orders typically arrive within 7 to 10 business days.

not sure what games are now being played again. now I am told I cant order any cpap supplies for 5 monthes. that I need to enroll. Iam enrolled. even received a cpap machine from the VA. I ve ordered before last year. i need new nasel masks and tubes. before they sent a shit load of other stuff I didnt need, and only two masks. this is the vary reason why i dont trust the VA. Iam not aware of any invalid date. once again the VA plays their BS games.

This system is a epic FAIL! Is anyone reading the comments. Who ever is overseeing this office needs to be fired! Completely bilking tax payers and veterans.

Sounds like we need some congressional oversight AGAIN!
You wait on the phone for hours. If you do a call back number, takes days for them to get back to you. Also if you email for supplies it again takes days just to send you an acknowledgement email. I have paid out of pocket for supplies before at a rate of $65. Simply put….you got thousands of Vets trying to get supplies through one place.
My husband has ordered his supplies with the mail order form. He never got the chin strap. So, he sent in the other form requesting the chin strap again. He still hasn’t gotten it. Unfortunately I didn’t make a copy of the form to send it in a third time.
Now since the changed logging into the websites, we can’t get in. I tried uploading his picture numerous times and the VA doesn’t like the picture.
Disgusted is an understatement.
What a joke. My doctor tells me to replace the mask monthly and I try to use the online ordering and get this:

The technicians at Portland VA did a great job providing necessary supplies for my sleep apnea machine.
Now some bright-eyed efficiency expert expects me to figure out what I need to make the machine work properly. BIG MISTAKE!!
I just ordered cpap supplies from colorado and I got things I can’t even use. I wear a medium mask and I was sent two small masks along with two medium masks. In the site itself there is no way to change what you get also. If we could adjust it, we would get what we need.

Has this now changed where I have to order each time I need something for my CPAP?
Sent email = no response, called and a week later they call back to tell me I am not eligible to receive may mask until March 2024. So that is a GREAT service, do you think ?
I’ve been on a CPAC machine since I was tested by the VA to have sleep apnea back in 2020. This pass Friday (12/8/23)I drove to the Durham VA from Smithfield to get supplies for my CPAC machine that’s located on the 10th floor. I was told that there wasn’t any supplies there and that I should have been sent supplies once a year. But its been almost 3yrs and I haven’t received any supplies and don’t know where to get some. My 2 nose pieces have large splits in them (unusable)and everything else are damaged. I need to be using my CPAC machine for my safety. Thanks!

My second reorder came yesterday with only a partial amount from my original order assigned by my Doctor’s. It can be cleared up if the sender’s are paying attention. Efficiently with Integrity bares out the common thread to complete the task without needless stress , cost and wasted time . Generally look at the first order and simply duplicate it for the Veteran. Maybe if we had more Veterans in place to conduct the art of reordering—the job may be accomplished the 1st,2nd,3rd amd more times == “ACCURATELY “.
