Alongside doctors and nurses, VA’s own police, firefighters and first responders always stand ready to provide safe, secure environments for our Veterans.

Their dedication is why VA Careers is a proud sponsor of this year’s SERVPRO First Responder Bowl, which will be played Tuesday, Dec. 26, 2023, at Southern Methodist University (SMU)’s Gerald J. Ford Stadium in Dallas.

This is a chance to celebrate the everyday heroes in our communities, and we wouldn’t miss it for the world, because we know that our world would be a very different place without first responders.

Just like our Veterans, these brave people have chosen to run toward danger, to care for those in need, and to serve their communities with dignity and honor.
