I encourage all veterans seeking employment to make an in person visit to your state employment agency, Most will have a Veterans Employment Representative and/or a Employment Counselor who will help you sift through the job listings, and may be able to do a “job development” and reach out to an employer who might have an unlisted job suited for you. Some state employment agencies offer interest surveys that may help identify your hidden interests and abilities. Think outside the box and look at jobs that may not be what you think you want to do-get your foot in the door.
