Civic Leadership Engagement Roadmap (CLER) is an online, self-paced, 3-month program offered by The Policy Circle—a community of more than 13,000 women in more than 340 cities that provides a platform for women to take ownership of solutions to the issues facing their communities.

CLER aims to guide participants from general civic knowledge to becoming civic leaders. The program features one-on-one coaching, peer groups, networking opportunities and specific activities to build solid connections with local policy leaders.

The Policy Circle’s Military Initiative offers a full scholarship that covers the high-quality and self-paced CLER curriculum, which will help propel participants into their next chapter in service. This opportunity is open to female service members, Veterans, military spouses and military family members.

CLER offers three distinct courses:

  • Founding Principles & Local Government
  • State & Federal
  • CLER Education

The Summer Cohort deadline is May 17, 2024. Interested applicants can learn more at Military Outreach Initiative – The Policy Circle.

Do you know when this program will be offered again. I was late reading this article and missed the deadline for submitting an application for consideration.
