Occasionally we have the oppurtunity to be a part of a great effort. VA’s Mental Health Hiring Initiative is underway and many organizations and people are pulling together to accomplish this need. With recent announcements, Americas Health Care Associations, partners and educational institutions are all throwing offers of assistance to care for our Nations’ Veterans.
By now we all know about the very real need across the nation to provide mental health services to all Americans. That need is just as important to our Veterans as well. Most regions, urban or rural could use more providers and so can the VA. To meet that need VA is committed to hiring many mental health providers nationwide.
To be sure that everyone hears that message and knows how to learn more about serving Veterans at VA, several of our friends have offered opportunities to promote this effort on their sites, newsletters and messaging.
In an effort to maximize this message to all mental health providers, I am asking that you provide the following information to us via e-mail as quickly as possible.
- Organization Name
- Point of Contact

Email to VHAAdvertising@va.gov and a representative will contact you as quickly as possible.
