If you’ve spent any time on VAcareers.va.gov in the past year, you may have noticed a few changes to the site. These changes first came in the form of an updated, clean look and streamlined info, and was followed by intense programming changes that make the overall user experience as smooth as possible. Our goal was an easy-to-use, informative website that reflects the achievements and successes of the modern VA.
Today, we are proud to announce that VA Careers was awarded the 2013 WebAward for Outstanding Achievement in Web Development in the category of Employment for VAcareers.va.gov. The site was judged on design, ease of use, copywriting, interactivity, use of technology, innovation and content.
Everyone loves adding a trophy to the cabinet, and we are no exception. But our ultimate achievement is effectively serving those who come to VA Careers to search for their next career move. We see this accomplishment as an extension to our commitment to serving our candidates and by extension, the Veteran community.
Now, head back to VA Careers and put our award winning website to work for you—we look forward to hearing your feedback!
