At Veterans Health Administration, learning is a way of life. To ensure excellence in patient care for our Veterans, we proudly offer our health care professionals scholarships, loan repayment, and academic incentive programs to support their pursuit of higher education.

Part-time and full-time employees studying certain health care disciplines may be eligible to receive loan reduction payments. You may qualify to receive complete salary replacement and reimbursement for costs and fees, if enrolled full-time in an education program. In certain cases, employees with Federal student loans may be eligible for the Public Service Loan Forgiveness Program.

Our nationwide network of education programs keeps our employees performing at their highest potential, fortifying the abilities they already possess and developing new ones. With Veterans Health Administration, you can access resources to hone your skills, whether in a classroom, on the job, or online. Scholarship and residency programs are available to nursing, pharmacy, and medical technology students to increase your experience in the field and encourage enrollment in advanced degree programs.

We also support our physicians’ aim for continuous learning through loan repayment and tuition reimbursement programs. As a student, you can receive up to $60,000 toward student loans. We want you to focus on learning and thriving, not your student loans.

Veterans Health Administration is committed to giving our employees the support they need to pursue comprehensive education and training. We take care of you, so that you can better take care of our Veterans. Learn more about all of the scholarship, loan repayment, and educational incentive programs available.
