VHA recruiters will discuss available jobs at VA, applications tips and benefits. Participants can submit questions about any VHA career-related topics such as the hiring process or how to navigate the job application.

VHA is hiring Nationwide for a variety of health care roles, with the highest priority needs including Physicians, Nurses, Mental and Allied Health professionals and Pharmacists.

How do I Join?

To join, just sign in and tweet your questions about vacancies, benefits, etc. using the hashtag #workatVA. The chat will take place via the @VACareers Twitter account.

If for some reason you are not able to participate during the official chat times, you can still tweet comments and questions, and a recruiter or employee from VA will respond and make contact with you. You can also forward your resumes to VACareers@va.gov.

Be sure to mark your calendars for Thursday, July 16th from 2:00-2:30 ET. We look forward to “tweeting” you then!

    I am a service connected veteran and i work part time in food service, If I want to go full time when a position becomes available am I able to get my application bumped up further or ahead of someone who is not a service connected veteran.
