Today’s #VeteranOfTheDay is Zachary Bell. He served as a Rifleman in the Marine Corps from 2007 to 2011.
Zach served two deployments to Afghanistan. During his time to Marjah, he was meritoriously promoted to Corporal after taking the responsibilities of squad leader. He later earned the rank of Sergeant.
Zach was personally awarded the Navy & Marine Corps Achievement Medal for exemplary performance of duty. He also received Navy & Marine Corps Presidential Unit Citation, Navy Unit Commendation and a Combat Action Ribbon.
After Zach separated from the service, he worked as an outreach specialist helping Veterans connect with useful resources.
He recently earned his MBA at Lipscomb School of Business. He is also started a recruiting firm that matches Veterans to careers.
Thank you for your service, Zach, and for your continued efforts in Veteran advocacy.
