The United States Air Force celebrates 69 years since its inception today. In 1947, President Truman signed the National Security Act, which established a new defense organization including the Air Force. The brave members of the Air Force have fought in critical battles in a number of wars and have helped to keep our country safe.

Here at VHA, we recognize the courage and devotion of our Air Force and are proud to offer a number of services to our Air Force Veterans. Whether you’re seeking patient care or employment, we want to serve you as a repayment for your selfless service to our country.

We understand that sometimes the best Veteran patient care comes from fellow Veterans. Much of our staff is made up of former members of the military, including those from the Air Force. Former service members know what it means to be dedicated to a cause and have the drive to achieve results—and these are exactly the skills we need at VHA. We offer a wide range of rewarding career opportunities— from administrative to IT to health care positions.

Are you interested in joining our team and serving your fellow Veterans? Apply to be a part of VHA today!

Providing care at more than 1,200 health care facilities across the U.S., we at VHA serve more than 8.9 million Veterans, including our beloved Air Force Veterans, each year. We offer a wide variety of programs and provide the latest in health care technology in order to ensure that our patients can reach their ultimate health goals, and our facility locator makes it easy to find a VHA location near you.
