I served in 1960-1964, I see all the great things the Veteran’s administration is doing and it’s great.
I’m receiving less money than a child on Social Security. She has not paid any in SS and it’s shameful, I’m 74 and worked all my life, I only get a little more than $400 a month and thank God I have a small allotment.
My wife get more than I, but we are still hurting to have the basic’s in life.
Is there any relief or help for an old veteran?
    thank you Ed

Hello Catherine and Merry Christmas to you and yours.
    I am a Retired, United States Air Force Veteran (1961 – 1981)
I am a Volunteer at the Detroit VA Medical Center, where I interview veterans and submit their stories to the Veterans History Project/Library of Congress and assist Veterans with their on-line medical and information needs.

My reason for writing to connect with you and other VA staff involved with the development of the website.

I have over 2000 active and prior military personnel on my Facebook. My goal is 5000 plus. I conduct Podcasts create help videos and share VAr videos with them. My goal is to get them involved with your website development.

    I figure 5000 strong. can’t be wrong.

If you think this is a good idea – please email me to discuss further, the value of using social media. I would love to hear from you before Tuesday evening. After that I’m on vacation until the middle of January.
