On May 25, join VA and Got Your 6 for a Facebook Live event discussing VA life insurance. It can often be difficult or expensive for Veterans with service-connected disabilities to get life insurance from a private company. Sometimes Veterans find this out too late and once the VA application deadlines pass, the benefit is no longer available.
During the live video, VA and Got Your 6 will discuss benefit options, eligibility requirements and critical application deadlines. VA experts will also answer questions posted as comments and direct participants to resources through the following day.
Participating is easy:
- Visit Got Your 6’s Facebook page on May 25 a few minutes before 3 p.m. EST.
- The live video will begin on the hour. To watch the video discussion, you must refresh your page at 3 p.m.
- Click on the video, make sure it is unmuted and turn up the sound.
- Type your questions into thecomments section of the video and VA experts will answer them.
This event is part of the #ExploreVA: From Service to Success online event series showcasing how Veterans and their families are using VA benefits to earn degrees, start careers, buy homes, stay healthy, and so much more in life after the military.
