The Hoist – Lest We Ever Forget, Inc. is a nonprofit organization created by two friends in 2006 to recognize, remember and honor Veterans and gave their lives in the line of duty.
The California-based organization holds a public ceremony each year on Memorial Day, Veterans Day and Pearl Harbor Day. The intent of the ceremonies is to allow Veterans and civilians to take a moment, raise a glass and reflect on their freedom.
The organization encourages everyone to join its Hoist Facebook group to stay abreast of event details as well as other information.
