The Hoist – Lest We Ever Forget, Inc. is a nonprofit organization created by two friends in 2006 to recognize, remember and honor Veterans and gave their lives in the line of duty.

The California-based organization holds a public ceremony each year on Memorial Day, Veterans Day and Pearl Harbor Day. The intent of the ceremonies is to allow Veterans and civilians to take a moment, raise a glass and reflect on their freedom.

The organization encourages everyone to join its Hoist Facebook group to stay abreast of event details as well as other information.

Vets from Vietnam war should contact your local VA Host to help with anything that causes you pain. I am 72 and had the VA get me in the system. VA has come a long way to the getting our Vets. They will help you with anything, good luck
