Today’s #VeteranOfTheDay is Navy Veteran Rhonda K. Stilley Allison. Rhonda served from 1989-1995 on active duty during the Persian Gulf War and in the Reserves.

Rhonda was a sailor on the U.S.S. Yellowstone in Norfolk, Virginia, where she repaired ships. She went overseas in 1990 during Operation Desert Shield and Operation Desert Storm, where she traveled to different ports in the Middle East, including in Israel and Saudi Arabia. Rhonda remained overseas for eight months. After four years of Active Duty, she served in the Reserves for two years.

Rhonda studied at Rochester Community and Technical College. She participates in a large amount of volunteer work, including work with United Way.
