The Central Arkansas VAMC Community Living Center gathered for a Neighbors Night Out, a national initiative to inspire fellowship and celebrate community among Veteran patients. For two consecutive years, the Suicide Prevention Team in Danville, Illinois have been #1 in the nation for suicide prevention outreach. As we wrap up suicide prevention month, we want to remind everyone that even though September is over, the awareness still continues. In honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, the Indianapolis VA employees showed their support by wearing pink. All VA medical centers have a Women Veterans Program Manager to help women Veterans access VA benefits and health care services. Photo via Indianapolis VA staff.


United States Marine Corps Veteran Wesley House lifts weights during his cardiac and pulmonary rehabilitation appointment at the Dallas VA Medical Center. The cardiac and pulmonary rehabilitation program is 12-week program and Veterans come in three days a week for an hour session. Veterans participate in 45-minutes of active exercise, weight training and end with a cool down all while having their heart rate tracked.     Please keep fighting for our great veterans and please look into all the burn pit victims that are suffering from iraq. Thank you
