Angie Holbrook graduated from Texas Christian University in 1991, where she was a part of the Army ROTC program.
After commissioning from the program, she served as an adjutant general officer for the U.S. Army. Some of her notable assignments include being a division strength manager at Fort Carson, commanding a sustainment battalion at Fort Hood and being a deputy aide to the chief of staff of the Army. She also served two deployments in Iraq from November 2006 to February 2008 and from July 2009 to July 2010.
During her final assignment as a Commander at Fort Belvoir Garrison, she oversaw the opening of a new tax center and expanded the post commissary.
Alongside her service, Holbrook also participated in running and supporting the Wounded Warrior Project and the United Services Organization.
Holbrook received numerous awards during her career including a Legion of Merit and a Bronze Star Medal. She also received the airborne badge.
After 27 years in service, Holbrook retired and works as a manager specializing in providing solutions for the Army sector.
