Emma J. Breitbarth served in the Air Force from 1985 to 1989. She served in the 509 Bomb Wing at Whiteman Air Force Base, Missouri. While she was in the service, Breitbarth earned an Air Force Achievement Medal and Good Conduct Medal.
Breitbarth now dedicates her time and service to providing career advising for Veterans. She works with the Texas Veterans Commission (TVC) in Tyler, Texas. Breitbarth is active in the East Texas Veteran Community and serves as a member of the East Texas Community Council. She also serves as a board member with Community Assisting Military Personnel and Veterans. The organization, located in Tyler, is a place for Veterans to go to find any information or resources they need.
Breitbarth has received numerous awards for her service in the Veteran community, including the Disabled Veteran Outreach Program Specialist of the Year Award, the TVC Region III Veterans Employment Representative of the Quarter Award, the TVC Excellence Award and the TVC Outreach Excellence – North District Award.

I know Emma and have worked along side of her at the local Workforce Office in Tyler…
Presently she is our Committee lead female Vet in our efforts for the 3rd consecutive year of recognizing female veterans on Women’s Veterans Day. We will be challenged on how to proceed this year due to COVID 19.
Emma is always a professional striving to do her best in assisting others. I would hestitate to ask her to give me a work reference and hope she feels the same of me.
I consider her a professional pier, friend and female veteran…betty
