They were filmed in our new Southern Nevada Healthcare System in Las Vegas and show why VHA is a health care system like no other, with a unique patient population, state-of-the-art technologies and talented professionals working together in a team environment. They spotlight actual VHA employees involved in everything from prosthetics manufacturing and 3D imaging to smart pharmacies.
Why actual employees? Because each and every person at VA is what makes VA a great place to work. By showing their devotion to our Veterans, their passion to learn and the commitment to utilize the latest procedures and equipment, they create a positive and engaging environment that will appeal to many potential employees.
We chose to broadcast the VHA message via TV because it maintains its stronghold as the most popular device for Americans. In fact, North American TV ad investment increased by 13.6 percent in the third quarter of 2012, according to Nielsen, making “television advertising the favored media through which to communicate with consumers.”
We’d like to give a special shout out to the staff at the Southern Nevada Healthcare System. Their passion and professionalism is evident in all they do—even as TV stars!
