Last month’s jobs report for Veterans was encouraging for those of us closely tracking Veteran unemployment. The rate was down for Veterans of all eras, and the post-9/11 rate, while slightly up in May, is showing signs of a long-term recovery.

That being said, far too many Veterans are out of work at a time when employment is a significant reintegration factor. The US Chamber of Commerce recognizes that and has held dozens of Hiring our Heroes job fairs for Veterans across the country. Below you’ll find a list for fairs through the end of July. If you’re looking to jump careers or want to see what’s out there, update your resume and head out. And if you don’t see a local event coming up, take a look at the Chamber’s map for upcoming events through the end of the year.
