VA is celebrating Independence Day across America at medical centers and other VA facilities. Here is how some of them are celebrating.
VA Texas Valley Coastal Bend in Harlingen, Texas, is hosting several events for Veterans and their families:
Lebanon VA in Pennsylvania hosted the The Air National Guard Band of the Northeast, the 553rd Air Force Band, on Friday, July 2. The band played a series of inspirational and patriotic musical selections for Community Living Center patients, Veterans, staff and guests.
There was a BBQ and car show at the McAllen VA Outpatient Clinic on July 1:
VA Eastern Kansas in Topeka celebrated the holiday on July 2 when 106-year-old WWII Veteran threw out the first pitch at a Kansas City Royals game.
