The PACT Act expands benefits, health care, and services to Veterans and their survivors, who were exposed to environmental toxins such as Agent Orange in Vietnam, burn pits in Iraq and Afghanistan, or other herbicides or radiation exposures in other places around the world where Veterans served.

Beginning March 1, service members and qualifying Veterans will have access to increased life insurance coverage of up to $500,000 under two programs: Servicemembers’ Group Life Insurance (SGLI) and Veterans’ Group Life Insurance (VGLI).

VA will be publishing the PACT Act Performance Dashboard every other Friday to measure the implementation of PACT Act and showcase its impact on Veterans and survivors.
