Secretary of Veterans Affairs David J. Shulkin statement on passage of accountability bill
“I want to thank Senator Rubio, Chairmen Isakson and Roe and Ranking Members Tester and Walz for their hard work on passing this bill, fulfilling one of my highest priorities at the Department. It’s common sense – we need to hold our employees accountable for their actions if they violate the public trust, and at the same time protect whistleblowers from retaliation,” said Dr. Shulkin. “This legislation will help us do just that.”
