    Many people are familiar with the nonprofit organization DAV (Disabled American Veterans).  Founded in 1920, DAV continues its service today by providing guidance to Veterans from all generations on their claims and benefit options and by offering no-cost transportation to VA medical facilities. Nearly a decade ago, the DAV expanded its support of service members and Veterans by creating an employment program.
