VA’s Veteran Readiness and Employment program helps a Navy Veteran deal with his PTSD through photography.

Dr. Mary Rorro is a psychiatrist with the New Jersey VA. She created a program called “A Few Good Notes” blending music, poetry, photography, and the arts as part of her psychiatric practice.

The Seeing Lens, a photography program at Lebanon VAMC, teaches mindfulness to Veterans in recovery. Each week focuses on a different aspect of recovery and ties it to a photographic technique.
