Public Service Recognition Week

During Public Service Recognition Week (PSRW), May 7-13, 2023, VA recognizes our incredible workforce for their commitment and dedication to fulfilling our mission to care for those who have served in our nation’s military and for their families, caregivers, and survivors. 

VA celebrates Public Service Recognition Week (PSRW) May 3-9. PSRW honors the men and women who serve our nation as federal, state, county and local government employees.

The Service to the Citizen™ Champions of Change Program recognizes those public servants and their industry partners who demonstrate excellence in their delivery of services that impact the public. These awards represent many of the customer experience and citizen services accomplishments from the past year across the government.

This week, VA joins the nation in celebrating Public Service Recognition Week, a federal observance recognizing the value of public service, and honoring the men and women who serve the public at the federal, state, county, and local level.
