As Vietnam War Veterans Day nears March 29, the Vietnam Veterans Memorial Foundation’s Wall of Faces is nearly complete but needs help from the public to track down the last few dozen photos.
During the Vietnam War, more than 265,000 American women served the military and 11,000 women served in Vietnam, with 90% working as volunteer nurses.

Acting VA Deputy Secretary Pam Powers thanked Vietnam Veterans “to whom we all owe the greatest debt of gratitude” at the Martin County Veterans Memorial Bell Helicopter dedication ceremony Aug. 1 in Fairmont, Minnesota. The ceremony, hosted by Martin County and the memorial committee, dedicated AH-1-66-F-15327, or Cobra 327, which served in Vietnam and Laos from 1968-1971.

He recently worked as a technical adviser on a major motion picture that showcased the bravery of service members, but also brought up a painful past.
