In conjunction with VA’s participation in the Institute for Healthcare Improvement’s 100 Million Healthier Lives initiative, the Center for Women Veterans has partnered with VA’s Office of Community Engagement to improve women Veterans’ health and well-being.
The advisory committee saw firsthand how VA provides service to rural women Veterans, as well as the challenges women Veterans who live in rural areas face in accessing VA benefits and services.
VA is doing its part to further the discussion on early detection and proper screening.
