Mobile apps. Wearables. Remote workouts. What do these things have in common? These are all technology resources that Veterans can and are already using as part of their fitness journey. Here at Team Red, White & Blue (Team RWB), a nonprofit organization forging America’s leading health and wellness community for Veterans, we’re leveraging these technologies to support Veterans’ well-being every day.
The Team RWB Member App, launched in 2019, provides Veterans and their supporters with instant access to thousands of physical, social and service-oriented events nationwide. Today, the Team RWB Member App includes social feeds, member-generated events, notifications, member profiles, and is rated at 4.8 stars.
As Team RWB works to develop the next generation of this resource, which currently offers more than 20,000 annual opportunities for Veterans to build a healthier lifestyle, we’re seeking your support.
Veterans are eligible to apply to participate in a research study consisting of a one-hour phone/zoom interview about your post-service health and fitness experience and how technology supports your journey. Selected participants who complete the interview will receive a $100 Amazon gift card in gratitude.

“If I’m out pounding the pavement at 4:30, I may be doing it on my own, but I also know that somewhere out there, a bunch of fellow Eagles are doing the same thing,” said Team RWB member Duane France.
The quote above is one of my personal favorites because it demonstrates the power of community in terms of health and wellness. Whether it’s by downloading the Team RWB App and participating in our events, joining a live workout from your Peloton, or tracking your run with your Apple Watch, I’d like to encourage you to take some time to consider how technology can support your personal health and wellness journey.
I believe that with a strong focus on health and wellness, every Veteran can ensure their best days are ahead.
