Warrior Rising, an organization that helps Veterans succeed in business, will be awarding a free Dirty Dough mobile franchise to a deserving business-minded Veteran.
Through our valued partnership with Dirty Dough, a nationwide cookie franchisor, we can offer a rare opportunity for one of you to own your own mobile franchise valued at over $200,000, without any franchise fees.
Does the chance to have a mobile franchise sound like the right opportunity for you?
If you’re interested, please hustle and apply for our contest. The application period will remain open for a few weeks, until Sept. 24, 2023.
Why are we doing this? Warrior Rising is a non-profit organization launched by Veterans for Veterans in 2015. We help Veterans and their immediate family members achieve success in business by providing opportunities to start businesses, scale businesses, buy businesses and create franchises.
We care. We empower. We mean what we say. We don’t just talk about it, we do something about it. We are the best at what we do.
Here’s an opportunity to own and operate your own franchise. You served the American people, now live the American dream.
We know owning a business can be daunting. Warrior Rising will be with you every step of the way. Don’t get me wrong… we aren’t going to run your franchise for you. You need to put in the hard work. But Warrior Rising will be there to provide mentorship and guidance, point you in the right direction and answer your questions.
Warrior Rising is positioned to help you. We are dedicated to transforming Veterans into “Vetrepreneurs,” providing them opportunities to create sustainable businesses, perpetuate the hiring of fellow American Veterans and earn their future.
Warrior Rising provides education and training in the form of the 40-video curriculum known as the Warrior Academy. We also host coaching and monthly mentoring sessions every first and third Wednesdays of each month.
When you apply, we’re going to ask you for some basic information:
- Name
- Cell number
- Location
- Veteran status
- Willingness to move outside of state
- Social Media platform you are using to get noticed, and username on that platform.
- Please post your best video on your own social media explaining why you deserve this opportunity using the hashtag #dirtydoughrising! (You can post more than one video!) The more entertaining, the better!
Please ensure that your information is correct when registering, especially your email address. Check your spam folder. Or in some cases, if you have auto-routing rules set up for your email, the email may bypass your inbox altogether and go to trash or another folder you’ve set up in your email. It will be the same link for every session. Please be aware that our email provider also distributes a newsletter and other information. If you unsubscribe, you won’t receive any messages, including links for these sessions.
We look forward to seeing your applications and social media videos. The recipient of the Dirty Dough mobile franchise will be announced in Salt Lake City at Warrior Rising’s business shower on Veterans Day, Saturday, November 11.
Thank you for your consideration, and good luck!
Note: Other fees besides the cost of the truck and the franchise fee may be applicable, such as licensing and supplies. Only one mobile franchise is available, and selection will be competitive. The franchisor will also require you to qualify financially and otherwise.

I want the franchise very much hardworking veteran family of 7
PLEASE NOTE; One point of clarification for everyone: The first round started August 26th but it is not a one day submission. It ends in September (see instructions on the web page). Thank you.
My sister a DoD Civ currently stationed in the Midwest after spending 5-yrs in Kuwait who sent me an email regarding the opportunity. I have read through the 27 comment as of 31 Aug 2023. Interesting! My daughter just finished culinary arts school at the local community college. As a former navy dependent she has been to Japan and along the eastern seaboard. Frankly, she has a passion and heart for veterans and has watched me struggle since retiring in the mid-1990s.
She has been developing a business concept for farm to table with a focus on engaging veterans. It would be cool to win and let her run the business from this franchise opportunity. Happy to be in the background helping her, but in winning I’d be creating legacy. After all, that is what we have as veterans – legacy.
I wish everyone luck who has entered!
That’s very kind of you Nate!
I want in!
Awesome Chris. Looking forward to hearing more about this great opportunity. We Veterans can succeed at anything especially when given a well thought out plan.
Totally agree Jeffrey! We are only at round one. Have you looked at the web page here: http://www.warriorrising.org/dirty-dough-franchise. There are instructions and information found there as well.
I lost my husband almost 2 years ago. He had no life insurance. There is so much to do around the house. I also just retired from a school district. I want to keep busy and I do love to bake. I have 3 grandkids who help me bake and cook meals. I love giving and seeing the look on peoples faces. Whether I win or not God has a plan for all of us, and this always works out.
Thank you Rosemary!
I have no idea what to say on said video and I stutter is there like maybe an email I could email why I would be a good candidate for this dirty dough franchise
Hi Matthew
Unfortunately, for this opportunity, we need a video posted.
I have a Tax Preparation Business do you support other Veteran Business?
Hi Grant– if you’re talking about our regular program, absolutely. This is a particular offer for a franchise by one of our sponsors, Dirty Dough.
I would avoid applying for this. Dirty Dough is being sued by Crumbl cookies in an ongoing lawsuit. Research the claims of the lawsuit. It could be possible that the franchise could lose. Could a franchisee be pulled into this suit?
William, you’d have to seek legal advice on that, but I wouldn’t rush to a conclusion.
Funny how I was fine in a structured, uniform environment. But then Tawney, MI TAWNEY 2014, was so nice to take children to 23800 Greater Mac in St Clair Shores MI all the time. But then it hit me. She always left alone. I told the police and they called me a typical pedophile veteran off his “brain pills”. Imagine that. Then they framed me.
Just learning about is seemingly great opportunity. Send me more information. Thank.
I’m ready to do what it takes to make a very successful business and i like cookies

Amazing opportunity for all Veterans! Thank you !
Thank you Richard! We try out best to provide good opportunities as they are presented to us! Our veterans deserve opportunities!
After all adminstrative vague jargon and no clear location. Not many veterans are going to jump right into this situation. Especially after the experience of reinlistment contracts, the bonuses that never show, criteria to promote and percentages that hold you back from promoting. All the training that we go through to not put our personal information out to random contests. That have no contract or guarantees of protection etc. Let alone let everyone else on the internet know who we are. Good luck… to who acually wins.
Hi David. It’s a mobile franchise (think of a food truck) so the location would be agreed upon between you and the franchisor (as with all franchises, it has to make sense economically for all parties).
I really want to win so that I can spread love by helping people
That’s such a great sentiment Maurice! Hello,
I am intrigued as to whether the available state and city for the Dirty Dough mobile franchise to a deserving business-minded Veteran is as an already pre-determined location, or may be available to awarded proprietors existing current residence area?
According to the franchise agreement on the Dirty Dough website, you have to request approval to operate in your chosen location. I suggest you look at their map of current locations as it will be difficult to get approval if there is already a franchise in your area.
Hi Russ, It’s a mobile franchise (think of a food truck) so the location would be agreed upon between you and the franchisor (as with all franchises, it has to make sense economically for all parties).
I have completed all information requested, therefore I’ll leave the rest to our Heavenly Father aka God
We’re with you also Deane! Help me please
How can we help you Gary?
I wonder how this franchise works in a rural area and small town area. would it be economical?
See paragraph 4.1 of the franchise agreement. You have to request approval from Dirty Dough to operate in the area you request. Your approved “territory” may also be changed if the population changes or if your sales don’t meet minimums.
Good question Walt. Market opportunity is one of the factors to success for sure. It’s a mobile franchise (think of a food truck) so the location would be agreed upon between you and the franchisor (as with all franchises, it has to make sense economically for all parties).
I am interested in all opportunities

Cookies for troops and family’s .
It’s a great thought right Norman!
This is a once in a lifetime chance to make a difference, for fellow veterans across near and far!!
Love it Victor!! We’re doing our best to make that happen!
I can’t believe you’re going to put veterans in this vulnerable position. I think you’re all full of sht. I could be wrong, but I sure as hell wouldn’t trust this crap “opportunity”
Hi Kristina. There are lots of veterans that want to own their own business and, through one of our supporters, this opportunity came about. It is competitive and there are always risks to owning a business, so definitely it’s not for everyone. No intended harm though!
I am very excited to enter this competition and If selected as the winner 20 percent of my earnings from the Franchise will go towards feeding homeless Veterans.
That’s great! Just make sure you read paragraph 3.11 of the franchise agreement where you have to get approval from Dirty Dough to donate any money, product, or services.
That’s pretty noble Saul!
Let me win, i need it
We hear you Frank. I would greatly appreciate the consideration of owning my own business, I been disabled since 1984, I work for years until v.a. in Indianapolis, Indiana finally told the truth about my physical condition, then the v.a. in Washington DC put me at 100% and permanently disabled, and I found out after I had an accident with a drunk 18 wheeler. And then I was told I could work just not what my education was prep for.
Sorry to hear about some of your trouble Turner. Most veterans don’t have a online presence with ##hashtags etc. I don’t know any veteran that has tick toc or X or know how to use them. I’m 47 and a veteran and have never had or will have a tic or X account. So how would we go about applying if we don’t use these avenues?
Hi Kelly, unfortunately, that’s a requirement for this opportunity. We know not every opportunity is well suited for everyone but it could be worth setting up social media at least temporarily!
Hello, The name of this business starts off at a disadvantage with the name dirty. Who would name a food business dirty?
Haha well Ken, you would need to ask the franchisor– it’s a reference to the dough having things in it (and not being just plain).
Really looking forward to it.
Thank you Daniel!!! Appreciate the message.
No other Healthcare is beyond the service of cate that the VA gives.
I dont have any thing to say at this time
If you have any questions, we’re here to help!
So, when we win the franchise does it come with the franchise fee and/or the truck? Those items probably cost more than the franchise.
Hi Lee! It includes the franchise fee and the mobile truck and instruction/mentoring by Warrior Rising.

Free startup business….. only if you can qualify and afford it ?
There are ongoing factors that need to be met to be successful for sure (as with any business) but no fee for the truck or the franchise, plus a lot of instruction and mentoring from Warrior Rising as part of our program… that’s a pretty good start.
