I recently had a small stroke. Since then I’ve left many voice mails to Houston DeBakey consumer advocate and have never received a call back. I’m tying to get a ride withe the DAV shuttle van…regional DVA said they could not help me because they were working full time on disability cases. UI called corporate DAV in Kentucky who gave me 2 numbers to call. The one in west texas answers every time but refers me to the consumer advocate(the 2nd number) which doesn.t ever answer and doesn’t have voice mail. So your podcast is nice but your suggestion to call my local consumer advocate doesn’t help. Any idea how to break through, I need a ride for my 11/16 Neurology appt.
