VA and the Cohen Veterans Network (CVN) recently formed a partnership to increase access to vital mental health resources for Veterans in crisis. Together, we’ll implement various educational initiatives and facilitate the sharing of VA-developed instructional materials for mental health care providers. We will also work to identify potential locations for CVN clinics in regions believed to have underserved Veterans. These are some of the many ways VA is building on its commitment to serving those who’ve served.
If you’re also interested in helping America’s heroes live happier, healthier lives, consider joining our dedicated team. It’s a great time to do so, as we’re looking to hire 1,000 new mental health providers this year, including psychiatrists and psychologists.
With VA, you’ll enjoy regular salary increases, annual performance bonus opportunities and outstanding benefits, such as 49-54 days of PTO per year (26 days of annual leave, 13 days of sick leave and 10 federal holidays). You may also receive a sign-on bonus and relocation assistance. What’s more, you’ll only need one active, full and unrestricted state license to practice in any U.S. state or territory. It’s all part of a rewarding career that makes a meaningful impact every day. To get started, learn more about our open positions and apply.
