Every year, Veterans, leaders in health care, VA employees and the public come together to celebrate, discover and connect at the Veterans Health Administration (VHA) Innovation Experience (iEX). This year iEX is bigger than ever as it expands into a four-part series with the first event, Breaking Boundaries: Collaboration Challenge and Co-Designing for Tomorrow panel, taking place Aug. 26 and 27. Don’t miss your chance to register for this exciting event today.

A group of twenty health care innovators, non-profits, entrepreneurs, start-ups and academic affiliates at the earliest stages of solution design and development have been selected for the competition. On the first day of the event, they will pitch to VHA IE and VHA Innovators Network (iNET) site leadership and staff throughout the country. Those leaders will select the winners, who will get to take part in iEX’s Marquee Event, Oct. 27–28, and have the chance to collaborate closely with VA on advancing their innovations to help improve Veteran care.
On Aug. 27, the winners will be announced alongside an insightful panel called Breaking Boundaries: Co-Designing for Tomorrow and talks from Dr. Carolyn Clancy, deputy under secretary for health for Discovery, Education and Affiliate Networks; and Torrey Smith, CEO, Endiatx. The panel, moderated by Allison Amrhein, director of Operations, iNET, will bring together leaders from across VA and industry to discuss how collaboration between the entrepreneur community and VA can help solve industry challenges and address needs that transcend boundaries to impact Veteran lives.
The most important part of the VHA Innovation Experience, however, is you. This is your chance to engage with health care leaders, learn more about how VA is advancing Veteran care, and discover the future of VHA. Don’t miss a moment of the iEX Virtual Event Series.
