A new VA and DoD collaboration offers a virtual option for the Women’s Health Transition Training Program. The program provides service women with a deeper understanding of the women’s health services available to them within the VA health care system and how to navigate the VA enrollment process.
This free training is designed for Active Duty service women planning on transitioning to civilian or Reserve/National Guard status within the next calendar year, or women Veterans and current National Guard/Reserve members who have not enrolled into VA healthcare.
The training is led by women Veterans for women currently serving and fellow women Veterans.

I’m ashamed at what I observed and experienced as a male soldier from outside the cone as they say. I’m age 61 and still horrified at what female soldiers endured and the sexual harassment they constantly encountered. Throughout my years of NCO service I battled for equality and non harassment, however I was put down and ridiculed as as woman lover or not a man.
Now age 61 in November, the evil and bad are mostly gone. I tell my wife don’t worry they all go away!!!!!!
Just remember there are those males out there who fight for you decade after decade. With love Randall

Or doesn’t the VA care as much about male veterans?
Don’t veteran men ever transition to civilisn life?
How can I be one of the veterans who helps with this?
Finally The Veterans Administration Is Listening.. I Am An Honorably Discharged Soldier From THE UNITED STATES ARMY.. I Served In Many Support Battalions Where It Was My Pleasure And Responsibility To Make Sure ALL OUR TROOPS Got What They Needed.. However.. What Concerned Me The Most After I Returned Home And I Would Go To Veterans Hospitals In The Several States I’ve Lived In Since My Discharge Was?
I Would NEVER SEE FEMALE SOLDIERS.. It Was As If They Didn’t Exist.. And, I KNOW THEY DO Because They Served Side By Side With Me And Other Male Soldiers.. So I Would Often Go To The Administration Office And Ask, Why Are There No Female Soldiers Ever At This VA Hospital.. I Was Either Told The Hospital DID NOT HAVE ACCOMMODATIONS AND/OR FACILITIES TO ACCOMMODATE FEMALE SOLDIERS.. Or.. Female Soldiers Never Come To The VA Hospitals..
So I Continually HOUNDED The Department Of Veterans Affairs In Washington DC. By Phone Calls Or Via Social Media.. And? Would Put Out Calls On Blast On Social Media, And Tell Our Female Troops TO GET THEIR ASSES OVER TO THEIR NEAREST VETERANS FACILITY AND GET REGISTERED..
Because They Were Entitled To ALL THE EXACT SAME BENEFITS Their Male Counterparts Are Entitled To.. And, In Some Cases Even More.. Because Our Female Soldiers Are Often Single Parents.. So The VA Needs To Find Ways To Not Only Help The Female Soldier.. But To Also Help The Family She’s Responsible For..
And? After Our Female Counterparts Started Arriving At The VA For Their Health Care.. I’ve Found That They Suffer From MANY OF THE SAME PROBLEMS OUR MALE VETERANS SUFFER FROM.. Be It PTSD, To Radiation Exposure, To Hearing Losses, To Bone And Joint Problems (From Doing The Exact Same Things In The Military The Male Soldiers Had To Do..) To Deep Deep Depression..
To, Even Having Suicidal Thoughts And Substance Abuse Issues.. However? A LOT OF THEM THOUGHT THEY HAD NO WHERE TO TURN.. Because It Was A False Rumor In America That The Veterans Hospitals And Facilities Were Only For Male Soldiers.. In Other Words? They Were Being Lied To..
And? These INCREDIBLE FEMALE SOLDIERS Were Suffering Alone And In Silence.. Only Their Children And Close Family Members Saw What Was Happening.. And, In MANY CASES? The Female Soldiers Were Being Abandoned By Family Members Due To The Mental And Physical Problems They Were Having..
Because, They Don’t Understand The Military From Both Male And Female Perspectives.. Only From Male Perspectives As Far As I Could Tell By Having Conversations With Female Veterans At The VA That Started To Come In.. However.. I’m EXTREMELY GLAD AND PROUD To See That The Veterans Administration FINALLY STEPPING UP AND DOING THE RIGHT THING..
Because In The Military/ARMED FORCES, Our PRIMARY MOTTO Is? NO SOLDIER LEFT BEHIND.. And? I Live By That.. It’s A Life’s MOTTO As Far As I’m Concerned.. And, To Me That Means.. While Serving My Country In Uniform? Of As An Honorably Discharged Veteran Who Wears Civilian Clothes..
A Motto That Means ALL OUR SOLDIERS.. MALE AND FEMALE.. Of All Sects Of And Still Alive In America.. So I Say To The VETERANS ADMINISTRATION.. BRAVO!!! BRAVO!!! BRAVO!!! It’s About Time.. And, To My Fellow Troops.. ALWAYS REMEMBER Esprit De Corps… Because You Will Never Be Left Behind…
