The Independence Line is a call center available for Veterans and Afghans in need of assistance due to the Afghanistan withdrawal.

A group of VBA employees worked together to speed up a process to get benefits into the hands of Veterans faster than ever by revamping computer systems.

1-800-MyVA411 (1-800-698-2411) is available 24 hours-a-day, 365 day-a-year to connect Veterans, their families, caregivers, and survivors with VA.

VA staff can help Veterans resolve billing issues related to authorized community care claims. “Our number one goal is to help Veterans resolve community care billing issues as quickly as possible.”

The White House VA Hotline’s newest agents started taking calls this week and immediately put to use weeks of extensive VA benefits training. The White House VA Hotline is available 24/7 at 1-855-948-2311.

Rodney, a Navy Seabee with a 16 year military career, used VA educational benefits to earn a degree in 2017. The VA was hiring for a new hotline call center and Rodney knew the path he wanted to take, the path that continued his service and allowed him to help fellow Veterans.
