Dorothy “Pat” Rudd, 103, World War II Navy Veteran, has lived a life of service, pioneering the way for women in the military.
Nine Texas World War II Veterans were honored this week at the Beaumont VA Outpatient Clinic in a celebration of valor. All are at least 100 years old.
When asked if he's a hero, 100-year-old WWII Navy Veteran Emerson Pell gave a short, modest response: “I was just a normal guy.”
