We’re in the final countdown to the 2019 Veterans Health Administration (VHA) Innovation Experience (iEx), taking place October 22 and 23. For those attending or streaming the event live, the ideas and solutions are even bigger and bolder than last year’s event.

Best-selling author Vijay Govindarajan will keynote this year’s VHA Innovation Experience on October 22, and is sure to disrupt the conventional wisdom of change and what it means for large organizations like VHA.

Soon, 20 VHA storytellers will take you on their innovation journey. They will inform, inspire and show you how innovation is changing Veterans lives.

The VHA Innovators Network (iNET) has Human-Centered Design (HCD) to provide creative solutions to the biggest challenges facing Veterans and VHA employees. Now, as we count down toward the VHA Innovation Experience (iEx), iNET is turning to HCD to gain a better understanding of itself, asking those that engage with the Network to reflect and help imagine potential new futures for the Network. This work will culminate at #hackthenetwork, an open, interactive workspace taking place at iEx from October 22-23.

VHA Shark Tank competition offers VA employees an opportunity to share practices that address clinical priorities to improve Veteran care experience.

The competition provides Veterans and VA employees with the opportunity to create a piece of art that illustrates one of five key themes: innovation, collaboration, diffusion, networking and service.
