Gaming is more than just entertainment—it’s a way to connect, support and empower each other. By partnering with like-minded brands and organizations, MADFINGER Games is looking to create experiences for Veterans that go beyond the game. Whether through charity streams, exclusive and private events, giveaways or community streams, their mission is to foster an environment where Veterans and gamers thrive together.
MADFINGER recently teamed up with GLID Gaming to host an exclusive 16-player raid featuring real Marines and Army Veterans in Gray Zone Warfare (GZW), a tactical, first-person shooter game published in April 2024. This event was more than just gameplay—it was a testament to tactical precision, teamwork and the real-world skills that Veterans bring to the table.
Upcoming events
MADFINGER has some exciting events lined up where Veterans can connect with other members of the GZW community. They will be at the VFW 125th Anniversary August 9-10. Plus, they’ll be at TwitchCon Rotterdam (May 31 – June 1) and TwitchCon San Diego (October 17-19).
Gray Zone Warfare: Key game updates
GZW Community Stream #6, one of the biggest changes yet coming to GZW, will be discussed on March 13, at 6:00 p.m. ET, where they’ll dive into roadmap changes, as well as big player versus player updates coming, and more.
A dedicated Veteran space on Discord
MADFINGER has created a special space on Discord just for Veteran communities. It’s a place to connect, collaborate and engage with the game, share experiences, support fellow Veterans and more. The team is also setting up VA assistance with access to VA outreach personnel and working on live Q&A sessions with subject matter experts within VA.

I got there but dont know how discord works.
Well I’ve tried twice now to put the discord link in the comments. However the VA, as you all know, is very regarded, and they did not pass moderation.
So, like everything with the VA, you’re going to have to do it the hard way. Look up Gray Zone Warfare on Steam, go to the discussions area to find the working discord link.
On the discord go to channels and roles and select veteran to get access to the veterans area. If you have trouble finding it once you’re in the discord look me up, I’m signing this with my screen name.
It won’t let me post the correct bloody link so you ASVAB waivers are going to have to put your thinking covers on for this one and figure out this riddle.
httpssemicolon//discorddotgg/grayzonewarfare
Then go to “channels and roles” and select veteran to get access to veterans area.
If you can’t figure the above riddle out I had to use to slip it past the censors and need it Barney Style, look up Gray Zone Warfare on Steam. You’ll find a discord link in the discussions area.
And mods if you don’t want me sharing the correct link in the comments fix it in your article, don’t just cock block me when I try to be helpful.
Hey guys, Rick here.
Here’s the correct link to the Discord:
https://discord.com/invite/grayzonewarfare
Thanks for reading!
Try this discord link it should work. https://discord.gg/grayzonewarfare Hopefully it’ll let me post a link in comments anyway, I promise it’s legit. You’ll need to select “channels and roles” to the left where the channels are and select “veteran” as your background to be able to see the Veteran area. – Spectre_13
All of thr Discord links Invalid… You are not alone my arse chirp chirp chirp…I’m alone.
If this is another program for disable veterans then it isn’t fully explained. Most new programs for Veterans involve money.
seriously, guys, discord link is bad.
My husband is disabled. He rarely leaves the house and the situation is deteriorating. I bought him an X-Box solely so he could play on a flight simulator and ” visit ” places he loves but after 15 months it’s been used once as I can’t find a program simple enough for him to use. I’d be the one to help and I’m not into gaming (yet). Any ideas?
Any ideas.
Discord link to the gray zone community is invalid

Can’t move normally due to a condition and VA refuses to send me to a specialist for my psoas syndrome. I lay in a bed or on the couch, I watch movies or play my COD and Madden, at least it takes away my mind from the pain and the VA bureaucracy for a while. Why won’t the VA send you to who you need to see, I have seen over 40 doctors in Albany, NY and all say I need to see some one else out side of Albany, won’t send me to Boston or HSS in NY for help. Stratton VA head dude Richard or Dick, I truly don’t know what he goes by, won’t allow me. I am in so much pain I’m or with amputation, if I can have some of my life back. Also, I am at level 200 in the new COD, love playing it!!!
Hi Erik,
You might try having your VSO file a complaint with the VA inspector general.
That usually gets their attention.
