The Veterans Benefits Administration (VBA) is offering positions that enable retired federal employees to return to service as rehired annuitants. Your skills and experience can help advance our mission, ensuring Veterans and their families have the benefits and services they need to lead happier, healthier lives. Make a difference mentoring our entry- and mid-level staff; supplying on-the-job training; working on short-term projects and/or surges; providing knowledge for best practices; and supporting program managers.
As a rehired annuitant at VBA, you’ll enjoy a competitive salary and other perks, including a supplement toward your retirement income with a potential increase in your retirement benefits; flexible work schedules; and potential eligibility for federal health benefits. While in most cases you will keep your full annuity, your new salary may be reduced by the amount of your annuity.
