VA seeks executive to lead Veteran care in North Carolina

Help advance health care for Veterans in western North Carolina as a VA Medical Center executive director.

Licensed physician/dental officers and health system administrators are invited to apply for the position in Salisbury, North Carolina, by March 18.

As a VA Medical Center executive director, you’ll use your skills and expertise as a physician or health care leader to manage medical care delivery for our nation’s heroes.

You’ll lead a team of clinicians, nurses, mental health professionals, medical technicians and support personnel who are all dedicated to providing top-notch medical care to Veterans and supporting our core values.

You must be a results-driven leader of both strategic change and people who has a sharp business sense and can work to build coalitions both within and outside VA.

Your decisions will directly impact Veterans’ health care at the local level and help advance our overall quality of care. You’ll influence the medical facility’s culture as we provide service to the most diverse population of Veterans in history.

Reporting to the Veterans Integrated Service Network director, you’ll also be responsible for the financial direction and operations of the medical center.
