Today’s #VeteranOfTheDay is Army Veteran Joseph Louis Vazquez. He served during the Gulf War from 1987 to 1991 in support of Operation Desert Storm.
Brian Kinney served at NAS Pensacola, Florida and on ammunition ships, USS Vulcan, USS Holland and USS Mount Baker. He deployed in support of Desert Storm.
Douglas Huggins retired in 2009 after more than 40 years of service in 31 countries. He was injured in Iraq, suffering a brain injury and many broken bones.
During the war, David Gray developed an integrated air defense coverage for the division’s move into Iraq. He was awarded the Bronze Star.
