More than 100 women Veterans received information and services about benefits at Oklahoma's First Annual Women Veterans Benefits and Resource Fair held recently in Del City, Oklahoma.
Three times as many women Veterans are using VA care, benefits, and services now than in 2000, and national efforts are underway to address women specific care.
In 2009, women comprised 8 percent of the total Veteran population in the United States. By 2035, they are projected to make up 15 percent of all living Veterans.
