Give yourself the gift of Whole Health in 2023
Want to kick off the new year with some new goals? The Personal Health Inventory (PHI) will help you to set goals that align with what matters most to you. The PHI walks you through the Circle of Health and explores areas of your life that affect your health. Your Personal Health Plan will identify self-care practices that fit with your health and well-being priorities. Once you have completed the PHI, share it with your health care team or ask about working with a Health Coach at your VA.

I plan on viewing the video’s on Tai Chi. I keep putting it off but eventually it’ll end up on my priority list!
Tai Chi is something that can be done standing or seated and is definitely worth trying. Due to my neck problems, I was unable to do yoga. Tai Chi has really helped me, especially since I was homebound and unable to do many types of activities. You can do it through your phone on video connect if you don’t have an ipad or computer to use. The VA has ways to help those without computers and smart phones be able to do video appts from home as well. It does not cost any money to do so it is not a waste of money, Anything that gets you moving and improving your health is not a waste of time either. What have you got to lose?

Tai Chi is a waste of money and time!
In order to learn Tai Chi or Chi Gong. One must have a teacher face to face and teach you the proper body mechanics of the moves…also the reason behind them. On line is tough because you do not see every move fully. Some moves have subtle movements.
Once you learn the form going on u tube to review is fine.
